Matt Gay is set to hit free agency this year. How do you feel about bringing Gay back home to Tampa. He performed well for the Rams. Besides that 20 something yard kick against the Giants, I was surprised that we cut him when we did. Would solve our kicking issues of not being able to try a kick over 50 yards lately.

Sure, but the Bucs will be looking to go bargain basement at kicker. They may bring back Borregales, who didn't lose out by much last preseason.
They have a guy on the roster who might be the big leg they've been looking for. Signed to a futures contract on Jan 25. Jake Verity is his name. As a rookie he performed well in TC behind Justin Tucker and they apparently felt he was the real deal. He was on IR in Jax last year after a knee injury. Intriguing prospect, and cheap.
