yeah nobody likes admitting their wrong

here goes:

I was wrong about Julio jones. Dude is washed. What a bad take

DH, Biggs - Kyle trask. Here we go (Dak Prescott voice)

My point the entire time has been this team isn’t doing squat in the playoffs, if they get to the playoffs, and they need to find out if the second round pick can play or not. I’ve also said Mayfield is consistently inconsistent. Nothing that happened today proves me wrong. If Mayfield leads the team to a playoff victory, I’ll eat my crow. Feel free to rub it in then. As of now, your and the lunatic’s chest-thumping is moronic.

Until then, I’d advise against jumping in the pool that a lunatic is shitting and pissing all over the place in.

The expectations were 6 wins. If Bucs make playoffs, that is another year of Bowles and baker

there will be 3 first round QBs drafted next year. Maybe one of them may be the guy. The other 2 will flame out. It’s just a numbers game.

enjoy the ride. This team ain’t winning another superbowl until Mahomes is 40 years old and wants to join us.

We had a franchise QB for 3 years in our half a century history and we bought him in free agency. Let’s not act like they are easy to come by

this team isn’t on the same level as the 49ers, cowboys or eagles so yes they will lose in the first round but making playoffs is good for this franchise.

There is a direct correlation between how seriously someone takes their football takes on a Bucs football message board and the thinness of their skin . ..  even though its hard to imagine something more unworthy of seriousness than Bucs football takes

The funny thing is that REALITY is no object to the troll.  I am a Canales fan.  You guys are just mad because you called Canales wrong.  :-)

I said he'd be a better OC than the last guy who's leg you can't seem to stop humping.

I said his passing concepts and overall passing philosophies would be superior to your boy Byron.

I said our run game would be better.

I said we'd average more points.

Damn, I've been wrong this whole time!

Good call, lush.

I am a trask guy, if we stay focused and go 2-0 Trask gets to play week 18, but he wont have evans or godwin, but part of me thinks we should look to stomp carolina and have momentum going into PHI

Lol

well it’s probably likely Bucs lose next week

the Bucs will need to win both division games and control their destiny

let’s say Bucs somehow beat the jaguars, and then beat saints as you suggest, that would be 5 wins in a row

the dumbest thing they could do is not play their starters in the last week to carry that momentum into the playoffs

not saying it mattered last year. That was more about Brady not having his first losing season as a pro.

this year is a little different with maybe the team hitting stride at right time.

That garbage time playing time in week 18 last year didn’t do much for trask, not sure they should make the same mistake this year

That's a bridge they will be happy to cross if they come to it.

Based on Jason Licht's tweet from a few minutes ago, it looks like it doesn't matter.

And, that Baker will be getting a new deal.

Tbh that decision needs to be made now, its better to be all in on a decision than to be indescisive as a leader, the mentality cant be lets play and hope to win a meaningless game it has to be done with with purpose. We rest this week and get healthy for the playoffs, or we stay hot and carry our big stick, and accept injuries are the nature of the beast. Theres no bad decision other than indecision. Things that irked me last year was things like guys wanting to not play the game sometimes by showing more hurt than usual for routine things

Trask is capable of running Canales offense so I think it is great the Bucs have cheap options to fall back on while allowing the cap dollars to go to resigning Wirfs and Winfield while improving the rest of the team.

Mayfield may go down as one of the better free agent signings by Licht depending upon how the Bucs finish this season.

I won't be too sure we get stomped out by an NFC east team, this team isnt the same team personnel wise, guys like white/otton arent soft anymore and are building grit on offense, im just concerned about the defense

And, now, you have our resident drunk driving waste of space actually comparing him to Brady

Yeah . . .

Posted by: @bucsbits

He is NOT.  - - emphasize NOT again lol - even close to Brady's talent or smarts

In the same thread . . right up top .  I say Mayfield is not even the same in terms of clutch play. . . THE POINT OF THE AUTHOR (not me) of the4 article discussed in the thread

Posted by: @bucsbits

mayfield is NOT Brady, even in the clutch department

Its okay DH

DH . . .  YOU QUOTED JOSH Q  and you even threw in the lie that I defended Leftwich

Posted by: @donkey_hunter

Posted by: @bucsbits

Yes. Literally.

Literally, huh?

Per Josh Quiepo:

"Last Year Seattle was 5th(!) in 1st down pass rate in neutral situations (<80% wp in either direction) outside of the 2-minute warning!!! 53.72%"

"I think it’s safe to say #gobucs fans will see more play action in 2023 than last season no matter who the starting QB is. Geno Smith was 12th in the NFL last season among passers with at least 382 drop backs in PA% at a 25.3% rate per @PFF"

"SEA ranked 11th in the NFL in epa/pass last year (0.0646) and 21st in epa/rush (-0.0734). Bucs ranked 15th (0.0420) and 31st (-0.205) respectively."

"This person did not watch SEA in 2022. Waldron was doing stuff with 3 TE sets no one else could dream up. Motions out of pistol, pop passes, RPO's mixed in. SEA had a pretty damn creative offense LY."

-------------------------------

So, I think it's safe to say that Carroll's offense and play callers have had more creativity than our last offensive coordinator that you so adamantly defend.

That quote is about SEATTLE UNDER WALDRON (see the BOLD)

IT WAS ACTUALLY FUNNY BECAUSE BUGGSY QUOTED YOU THINK IT WAS YOU thinking you said "this person did not watch Seattel in 2022

Come on man . . .

you two even made fun of the "literally, " the use of the word. LMAO.

If you go back and look you will see that was about Carroll and I say SPECIFICALLY that Canales will be MORE RUN-ORIENTED than 2022 (Waldron) and . . .  HE IS

Agreed.  I think he had a perfect rating

Would be happy if he just played at 75% of that consistently
