your boy Byron.
Lol
Luckily for you your prior posts vanish
:-)
Vin,
Why don’t you do me, yourself, and the rest of the board a favor.
When you see me post, treat it the same way you treat sobriety…have nothing to do with it.
Seriously, just stop responding. I’ll return the favor.
Imho trask never takes a meaningful snap for Tampa.
barring injury. May play in a blowout situation.
what a great second round pick!
hated the pick at the time. Would’ve loved any position but QB. Killed a potential super bowl repeat.
not the only reason obviously but taking a qb certainly didn’t help 🤦

Which player wouldn’t have killed it?
what a great second round pick!
Exactly why it would be great if he was the real deal
Think Mayfield ended his chances of meaningful play this year, barring injury
Trask is the guy but I was fine seeing him if we had lost to Carolina... but now we are 7-7 and Baker just had his best game of the season. Canales just called his best game of the season.
Trask will likely remain a career backup and a wasted pick. If only Licht had pulled his head out of his ass with that pick but oh well.

career back up would be a ceiling for him
He will need some luck to get on the right team for that to happen
i think it’s a coin flip that he could be out of the league by 2026 or he latches on as a backup elsewhere that could extend his career ala Mike glennon
problem is the guy doesn’t have much tape so he’ll be a camp arm for a new team in 2025 and that will be his last chance
That was meant to read Trask isn't the guy...
I think he will have a long career as a backup. I mean shit... look at some of these QBs getting starts like Seimien and DeVito. He's better than them

oh yeah. We seem to agree on that selection. Brutal
in terms of his career length. It’s anyone’s guess
Christian hackenberg, Paxton lynch and Codey Kessler drafted in 2016 and no longer in league
Deshone kizer and Davis Webb in 2017, Josh Rosen and Kyle lauletta in 2018. No longer in league
He seems to be a good guy and teammate and hard worker so I think he has the worth ethic for it but in league that may want a #2 who can step in and win a game, he really doesn’t have the playing time to show for it
he will need to latch on somewhere on his next team and luck into some playing time
He should hire Josh Johnson’s agent because that dude always finds a team who QB gets hurt lol

a wide receiver sure would’ve helped that year.
same with any olineman or secondary player. Also any one to replace Devin white. Rb. Damn near any position sans qb kicker or punter tbh. Pass rusher. Idl. So on and so forth.
Come to think of it even a kicker or punter would’ve helped more then trask or any qb. So yes any position sans qb.
There were Trask supporters here who said that Mayfield should’ve been signed only as a back up. In other words, I guess, that Trask should’ve been handed the job? Or, maybe that if we were not going to win the Super Bowl it should’ve been Trask?
confusing because the positions shift.

imagine having to explain to other Bucs fans that the selection of a career back up QB in the second round following a Super Bowl win with Tom Brady going ALL in was a stupid draft pick, then watching the guy not be able to beat out a bust at QB AND then you getting a dispute from another buc fan on it 😂😂
what a world lol
According to PFF the Packers yesterday had the worst coverage grade since 2018. Basically, everybody was wide open.

in rolls the discounting . .. . . "Trask couldve done it."

I don't have any issues believing that. There were multiple guys open seemingly on every play. On most of the TD plays, there were multiple receivers wide open for 6. I'd guess their tackling grade was pretty poor too. That was a dreadful performance from Joe Barry's unit. Packer fans wanted him fired before the game was over.
This isn't the first game Mayfield has had multiple open receivers running all over the place. But this was the first game where he found them repeatedly, and he gets credit for that.

Mayfield completed a number of key passes into tight windows. The Moore touchdown is an easy example. Mayfield even talked about that throw from the podium. This is PR's recap:
"Baker Mayfield was dealing throughout the game. He mixed several impressive tight window throws over the middle of the field to receiver Chris Godwin and tight end Cade Otton with correctly identifying wide open options all over the field as he executed offensive coordinator Dave Canales’ offense to a plomb."
I mean, obviously the game plan destroyed the Packers zone defense, but man give mayfield some credit?
