Imagine if they got Manziel and Mike Evans in the 1st round.
I sincerely do feel bad for Browns fans... makes me appreciate the Bucs a little more
What they really need to do is allow someone else to do their job as owners, who understand the game better.Seems like ownership is their main problem. And coming from a buc fan, that might mean something.
Since their ownership is a guy who is under federal in investigation for committing fraud at his chain of truck stops i doubt many folks would disagree with you.
Heard about that, but haven't read much on it.How serious is it? Because large business get into legal troubles all the time for sometimes very frivolous stuff. Overblown or deep doodoo?
No this isn't some accounting error type thing or ticky tacky violation of some rules. This is out and out fraudulent billing. They tried to settle but out of something like 30 complaints 20 of them have not opted into the settlement so he is on the hook for some large cash.
I sincerely do feel bad for Browns fans.
Me too.I think they've suffered enough. I would wish this kind of garbage on the Falcons, Saints and Dolphins tho.
It never seems to matter who they draft, it's the same story. Right now they actually got several pro-bowlers. There is talent there to build around and that's why Chud, Turner, and Horton should have been given a little more time. The problem is too many changes, I think. 3 owners in 10 years. A half-dozen GMs. A half-dozen team presidents. Now 8 coaches. 19 QBs. Yes....19 QBs has started since 1999. It's just no continuity at any level of the franchise. There is no leadership or organization in the front office. There never seems to be a plan and if there is no one ever sticks to it. The HC job is considered toxic because the organization in the front office is constantly in a state of flux. And you just can't win in that environment.
