Lombardi with Schiano? I would say not a chance in hell, but this is Cleveland we're talking about...
It is only the most important when it supports their argument. Schiano did some good things here that will help this team moving forward. Schiano was also blamed for some crap he had no control over. To deny either of those things is hating just to hate. People just love to kick a guy when he's down.
All right Mrs. Schiano, are you implying Schiano had no control over a 0-8 start with all that talent, league leading penalties and poor game management? You sound like a woman that thinks Schiano should not even have been fired.
Name calling is the quickest way to let the others in a debate know that you are out of worthwhile arguments and are grasping for anything. Anyways....... are you implying that the QB he was forced to roll with imploding and a MRSA outbreak had no impact on the 0-8 start?
Mike Klis ?@MikeKlis 11mBroncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase called Browns today to say he is withdrawing as HC candidate to concentrate on Super Bowl. The fail continues...
So bad for the Browns fans. Are they black balling that owner or something?

So you do belong to the cult that believes Schiano should have been retained. The QB he rolled with only played for 3 games and was not the only or even the major reason for 0-3 start. The whole team at every level was underperforming, including the defense that made Geno Smith look like a competent rookie in his first ever start. Now your turn. Was Freeman responsible for penalties and Schiano's fuck ups in clock management?

Why was Chud fired after only one season? Seems a little quick to me. Even though I would have cheered had the Glazers fired Schiano after one season. He was awful.

Gase has a cozy job with Peyton Manning. He's not going to leave that and take on a mess with the Browns.Plus it's getting late. You can't really put together the staff you want because most teams are now going to start blocking you. We ran into that problem when we waited 3 weeks to hire Schiano. Teams want to get going with their offseason programs and not have to worry about filling holes.I guess Quinn from the Seahawks may be the front-runner now? Some rumors that he'd bring Kubiak or Kyle Shanahan for OC. That may be the best they are going to get at this point. But ultimately that front office is being run by a couple of clowns.

If you had read any of my posts in any other thread (or even my previous post in this thread) you would know that I have lobbied for Lovie Smith for quite a while. Yes I wanted Schiano fired and Lovie brought in. Yes I think Schiano made some pretty bad coaching decisions. No I will not blame a man for things that were out of his contol and I will give him credit for the positive things he did.
sammich: Schiano had a worse winning % than Morris with 10 times the talent. That's just crappy coaching. He had no business in the NFL.
