Brown released RB Ben Tate.Tate expressed frustration with his role last week after falling behind rookies Terrance West and Isaish Crowell. He had only two carries in Sunday's loss, and was averaging just 3.1 YPC over his last eight games. Tate's two-year deal contained no guaranteed money beyond this season. The Browns should establish more of a two-back committee going forward, rather than a week-to-week approach.
