Once Koetter was let go last year, my favorite prospective coach was Bruce. Many here were in the same boat with me. He had success with other teams and 2 coach of the year awards. Fast forward to today, and I can not imagine a scenario in which I would be more disappointed. My main concern is that the coaching staff and team do not appear to be operating at a level consistent with a professional sports team. They seem like a semi-pro team, at best. What I mean isn't necessarily or directly related to the the bottom line of wins and losses; last year we looked like a professional team, albeit a bad one and had a terrible record. This year, the mistakes that we are seeing, on and off the field, are inexplicable. We can't even, consistently, get the ball from the center to the QB without screwing it up...these people are making millions of dollars! The tactical errors made by coaching and management have also been just awful. Why was VH3 not traded before the deadline? Why wasn't Perriman. Why is Miller playing instead of Watson. Why the fak would you not put Dean on the field this past Sunday. Why take touches away from ME13 and Godwin and give them to Perriman and Miller? There are too many to count, these aren't just poor decisions...they are incompetent ones. Finally, I think I'm finally just done with Winston...I just can't anymore, so please stop coddling him and trying to sell me Winston for the future by blaming everything on everyone else. Its just making BA lose credibility.
