I;m hoping the new chrome grill facemask is super bright and shiny. We haven't been dropping enough passes lately and a little extra glare could make things more exiting. An enhanced logo is probably a drastic enhancement of the flag concept rather than the minor tweaks that were made to Bucco Bruce a few times which were barely noticeable. It has to be different and probably more edgy to stimulate enough new sales, which is no doubt the goal.BTW, someone posted here last year about a guy at Riddell that said he was working on the new Bucs helmet and they were awesome. This must be it because there was no change then.
I think the logo will be something like mine, in that it will just be an updated version of the same logo. I think it will be done in red chrome on a white helmet.

did he say "fire and chrome"? because I saw the one tweet said #fire and that's just a way of saying it looks "sick" or "sweet". I'm not sure how I'd feel about a red helmet, that might be too much
JD, all PFT did was pass along what Cummings claimed came from "Bucs officials." It's not like they reported it so if they are wrong it's because the Tampa Trib was wrong.

I love chrome, but this just makes me confused.
Hopefully the logo is more subtle. It's embarrassing to wear a Bucs hat in California. People always ask me why I'm wearing a pirate hat.
I find it odd that they arent mentioning uniforms as well. I feel like they'd have to be updated (not just the logo patches) to fit with the new helmet. It just makes sense. Sure it might not be the change in colors we had in 1997, which I'm glad of cause I like our colors, but wouldn't they mention somewhere that the jerseys were getting updated too if that were the case?

Agreed. Though I do think the helmet will be a more substantial change then the Panthers' changes were. I am just hoping for a jersey design change too, I'm just confused why they wouldn't mention it anywhere, if it was going to actually happen.
Wish I could do chrome...but I'm not that skilled. Anyways.....this is what I am expecting/fearing. Feels like the Cardinals with chrome.
