Wish I could do chrome...but I'm not that skilled. Anyways.....this is what I am expecting/fearing. Feels like the Cardinals with chrome.
Hey JDouble Love your work man. I have an idea in regards to the chrome your looking for. If you have Illustrator then good news. While in photoshop save your file as EPS type (encapsulated postscript). Open the EPS file into Illustrator, then you can do all of your chrome work there manually. Do you have any kind of 3d art program?
Glare is the same everywhere .... ever going skiing up north ?? Tons of glare off the snow . We don't have more glare simply because it's more hot . LOL. The Sun is the sun.

All I got is a 2002 version of photoshop and my mouse! lol.

I live up north but I don't see how snow glare plays into the picture about chrome guards on football helmets. The guard is in your face so anything reflective would have the possibility to impair your sight.

The point about snow glare was to Jdud saying that chrome in Florida is a bad idea , as if the laws of light reflection are different here and we have more glare . LOLAs far as glare on the inside of the mask . How ? Your angle inside , the back side of the mask , is not being shined on . It's going to effect the defender more than you , because he's looking at the outside.

The guard is comprised of circular bars. Any outside sun can and will reflect in all directions. That sun will be amplified inside the helmet. It already happens now with current guards just not enough to cause issues. I don't think you really understand what we're talking about though.
I think the chrome grill is a great strategy. It can pose a problem for anyone not wearing them. Its almost like playing against a giant mirror on the other side of the field, but instead its a giant broken up mirror with constant strobe effects. The sun will be coming at every angle. Just a thought, could be wrong...
The masks were approved by the league and are already worn every Saturday by college teams with no complaint. It's pretty clear YOU are the one who doesn't know what he is talking about , and now you are getting mad.

Lol.
From what I can tell, there won't be major changes to the colors or uniforms, just a tweaking of the logo and enhancements to the helmet.
From what you can tell??Have you seen them?
I'm basing it on the information in the article this thread is about. The changes seem to be centered around the logo and helmet, hence why they are showing those off and not the uniforms.Probably a bad choice of words there, I should have said, "from what I've read".
