Ya i guess Tim Wrights 50 plus catch season and over 500 yards with 4 tds for a UDFA who didn't play a full year is nothing to coach.
was making a joke
Good hire. he's going to turn Tim wright into an all around te next year. no reason to waste a top 3 pick on a position that's already set maybe in the 5 th or 6th round I could see a te being taken to compete with Crabtree and puke stocker (god I hope he isn't on the roster next year) and a mid tier te fa signing.
Wright's production came by way if injury, and preseason chemistry. Wright can't block, which is fine sometimes, but he is far from well rounded or elite. ASJ in the second please.
We can replace Stocker with an undrafted FA
We can replace Stocker with a tackling dummy
Fixed
Thanks for the assist
I just hope their aren't too many cooks in the kitchen.
Too many cooks in the kitchen means too many people doing the same job. I think the phrase you are looking for is " Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians " ;)

He was in his first year and switching to a full time te.I'm sure with him trying to make the most of his oppoutunites learning the playbook and trying to hone his craft heprobably didn't focus a whole lot on proper blocking techniques. Blocking is at least 70 % want to and 30% technique. Wright has the want to he got better as the year progressed lets see now that he knows what position he's playing and can gain the necessary weight and work on his blocking.
Also note Embry was Tony Gonzalez's position coach in K.C. For sure he's had a hand in developing some good NFL TEs... And, Chris Cooley with the 'Skins. I'm likin' this guy more and more...
