The Bucs offensive performance this season is living proof that a good to great offensive line is of utmost importance to overall success on both sides of the ball. The offense churns the clock with an effective run game mixed with a good passing attack, and the defense stays fresh resting on the bench.
We have similar thoughts about Bowles and this quote.
the defense played well most of the Chargers game but the second half domination of the Charger is the defense AND our offensive line just taking over.

They didn't play well the first half. That got gutted. Then they played well the second half and Bucs offense controlled the clock and routed them so the last 6 minutes were nothing.

Definitely the first drive
But, the second drive we held them to a FG because LVD had a big sack
we exchanged FGs
We then turned the ball over at our own 27, they score a TD
We then FUMBLE, but the D comes up with a stop
Point is that I thought that when threw the INT and they scored a short field TD we were in for a true shoot out, especially after the way they drove right down the filed in their first drive, but the stop after the fumble is huge and it was no fluke. we shut down their run and defended two passes
Thats the entire first half.
The OFFENSE scoring its typical first drive TD but then long FG drive and choking with two turnovers. The defense started playing well in the 2nd Qtr

It’s just communication issues.
These things take time. It’s only been 6 years.
Payton does not go for 2. Chooses OT. Even pulling his offense off with his QB pleading.
Bengals miss a short FG to win
Payton’s offense can’t get a 1st down. Leaves 2:20 to Bengals …
ahh … the NFL
Bengals win
someone tell Payton he’s supposed to go for two on the road
rookie
And the reaction is immediate
“Hard to defend Sean Payton these last two weeks. You’ve got a young team playing with house money. Be aggressive and go win these games. Instead we are trying our best to not lose. That doesn’t work in the NFL. Especially against good teams.”
Uh…
And don’t get me started on that bonehead Payton’s clock management
“Sean Payton understood that all Denver needed was a tie there, right? What horrible clock management”
Payton is an “incompetent” genius who cannot manage the clock
“Sean Payton trying to one up Zach Taylor with clock management. It’s 3n8 no cincy timeouts. Run Nix for the 1st or at worst punt the ball at 2 minute warning. And how does Payton not go for 2 and the win and the playoffs?!? They had all the momentum and Bengals defense was gassed. The NFL is full of overpaid incompetent coaches.
“Sean Payton’s despicable clock management in OT just lost us this game btw”
lmao
The loon’s persistent attempts to rationalize Bowles’ poor coaching decisions continues to be humorous.
And don’t think a W buys peace
”The clock management in this game by Zac Taylor was not quite Eberflusian, but it was close.”
lol
