In 2nd qtr, Foles sneaks it on 4th and 1. Without that they get three points instead of seven and the Eagles are never in the game
In 3rd qtr Eagles go for it on 4th and 4 and somehow are stopped inches short. Saw that as a sign that they weren’t sure they could stop us. Sure enough, we get the ball at mid field instead of at the 10 and soon go up 27-7. At that point Tampa is in control.
Later a 4th and 1 conversion at the Buc 10 on another qb sneaks let’s them make it 27-14. Also in the 4th the defense holds at their own 35 on a bouncing deep ball to let the offense take time off the clock.
Last, while we know Foles hit Aguilar on a great pass to make it 27-21, it came on a needed but possibly game-over 4th down
When thinking about the game don’t overlook how much of its character was dictated by all the 4th down tries.
