So says one writer:The Glazer family used general manager Jason Licht on Thursday afternoon as a prop to "explain" the firing of coach Lovie Smith. It was the equivalent of hiding behind mommy's skirt when the bullies pick on you, in this case a bunch of meanie men and women with notepads and recording devices.Legitimate questions are over-rated, you know.Licht's 16-minute monologue was a lot like a "Seinfeld" episode: Much ado about nothing. Platitudes for Lovie. A thumbs up for Dirk Koetter, the clubhouse leader to replace Smith. The Bucs are committed to success.Blah, blah, blah. What went down Wednesday night — when the organization announced that Smith was gone at 10:26 p.m. — is more of an indictment of Bucs ownership than a coach who went 8-24 in two seasons, with only three home victories. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/tampa-bay-buccaneers/os-tampa-bay-bucs-coach-george-diaz-0108-20160107-column.html
