Getting better and better.
We’re going to see A LOT more of Egbuka to start the season than most fans realize.
Cool with me. As long as he is contributing in a positive way you won't hear any complaints from me.We’re going to see A LOT more of Egbuka to start the season than most fans realize.

I'd hope so for a first round pick. I wanna see Godwin eased in and Evans on a snap count

yep I dont know that most saw him sitting on the bench much
There’s a very large contingent of the fanbase on social media thinking he’ll be sharing time with Jalen and the occasional spell of Godwin.
I think your Week 1 starting trio is:
Evans
Egbuka
McMillan
…and stays that way for awhile.

Wow. I had no idea people thought that.
I was thinking more that McMillan gets a little reprieve because Egbuka would be in Godwins role a lot, if not 100% early on. Surely Bucs fans should hope he would beat out McMillan for that spot if/when Evans and Godwin are both healthy.
Add in spelling those two (if Josh Q if right) and thats a lot of snaps.
I guess we will see.
I was one-dimensionally pegging Egbuka into the slot role…but that would totally be a BOMB drop - as you establish him in the slot, then the leverage of using him with deep routes, especially from the same formations - could be epic! There’s a very large contingent of the fanbase on social media thinking he’ll be sharing time with Jalen and the occasional spell of Godwin.

I’d love to see it!
And/but yes, we’ll see.
one-dimensionally pegging Egbuka
From Josh Q's take it appears that McMillan is the one dimensional guy, not strong enough to play in the slot and also not reliable enough making the catch in traffic, so thats why I assumed that, at a minimum, Egbuka takes some of the off the LOS snaps from McMillan. But as you point out if he's also able to stretch the field and play Godwin's role . . man, the options!
I just see it as 4 weapons that can spell one another and keep play makers on the field so we don't have to see the practice squad guys out there.
I think McMillan can do work in the slot because if Grizzard adds a vertical element to this offensive scheme it will be very interesting. McMillan also needs more NFL weight training to be on the LOS and not in motion on the boundary.
Egbuka is known for his horizontal game as well as working short and intermediate field and the boundaries. But what is underrated about Egbuka is ability to attack downfield and that is why if he can bring an Antonio Brown impac downfield attacking the seems with posts then it becomes very interesting. Godwin isn't the player he used to be to be able to attack a the deep seem like he used to so that is where Egbuka can shine as a slot player to bring a unique skill set to the team. Evans can also line up in the slot and then you have Egbuka and McMillan on the boundary as an example. You can do a lot of things to throw defenses off now with these four WRs. And then you throw in utility guys like Shep, T. Johnson, K. Johnson, T Palmer and things become very hard to defense for defenses even with dime backs.
My take last year was that McMillan needed to spend last season & this off-season, in an NFL weight training program. I think he is a smart/capable receiver, but doesn’t have the mass (yet) to be a reliable slot receiver.
