Shaq Mason traded to texans
Swap a 6th for a 7th
Maybe I'm in the minority but I hate that we traded Mason. I read that he graded poorly in the run game...
When Licht traded for him, was this always his plan?
Trading Mason saves $5.3 million in cap this year, but also saves $1.08 million that was counting against cap each year in 2024, 2025, 2026.
Apparently the market isn’t there for Lavonte , Bucs will get him on the cheap if they want him
i would like to see Nelson and Edwards back
Glad we kept Dean. Can't remember the last time both our starting CB's received a second contract with the team. Its just been a revolving door for the past 20 years.
Think we need to still draft a CB within first 3 rounds. Think Clark Phillips III would be a perfect fit in round 2
would think unless we replace smith and David in free agency OT and ILB are first 2 picks
then got to think defensive line more priority than secondary. But I guess we will see. I mean they did draft a kicker in second round
Guess Bucs fans think more of Lavonte , than other teams do .
Guess Bucs fans think more of Lavonte , than other teams do .
What moronic logic are you using to make this statement?
So far the Bucs are doing very good. The secondary is largely intact and the OL we already knew needed to be reworked. What is surprising though is the team is hanging onto Gage. However, seeing how some average to above average WRs are receiving some crazy contracts I guess hanging onto Gage is decent value. One thing for sure is that the offense is just 2 OL away from being able to be just as explosive as before on paper. Just need to figure out who plays QB.
Going back to the defensive side of the ball I would like to see the Bucs bring back Nelson, LVD and Edwards. Still need to draft a safety, edge rusher, DL and ILB.
Pewter Report staff keeps saying the Bucs are going to draft a WR much higher on draft day. But if the Bucs can bring back Miller and Perriman I do not see why they wouldn't resign them seeing that Gage is looking like a safe bet to stay as of today. In that scenario the Bucs may only take a flyer on a WR with so many 6th round picks.
I liked to see Nelson and Edwards back
I would like to see Nelson and Edwards back but I still see the Bucs drafting an edge rusher and a safety that can play the run. PR staff says that TE/WR is a big need or RB but I do not see it to be honest. Bigger needs are on defense as they need to become younger in the front seven. Need DL, edge rusher, ILB and S.
Nacho's deal with the Giants = 3-year $12M ($4.3M signing bonus + 1st year salary gtd)
Stinnie's deal should be similar to last year ($1.4M up to $2.5M with incentives).
Wirfs didn't like the Mason's trade!
LB's market looks good to re-sign LVD on a discount ($6-8M/year deal would be great)... hope the Bills don't make a good offer!
i would like Logan Ryan, Carl Nassib & Pat O'Connor back on vet minimum deal!
note sure i want Gholston, Hicks, Nelson, Edwards or SMB back for more than $2-3M!
don't like the QB's market, none of them is worth $10M/year. or more.. hopefully, they sign the least expensive!
Bring back Nelson! He is a disruptor...5.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles..
Bucs sign Nelson , nice
Add Mayfield to the Bucs , I actually like the move and have expected it for awhile
