Coen with another masterful day.
30 point performance without Godwin and Wirfs.
All 3 backs hit paydirt.
Baker played well.
Good stuff from our future HC.
Really good stuff. Nothing quite like playing the NFC east to right the ship
He’s been sooooooo good all season.
Especially with the adversity he’s faced.
Injuries. Horrendous head coach. Rookie C. Etc.
Lock him up, Glazers.
I'm skeptical we let Bowles go with this schedule down the stretch.

If there’s a chance Coen leaves, they’ll give Todd the boot.
Per Auman via Twitter:
“Here’s Todd Bowles’ response today when asked how much he considered taking an injured Baker Mayfield out with a 30-7 lead in the fourth quarter vs. Giants.”
‘He can start the game and get hurt, so there’s no preservation in football. If were up 50-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter, or something like that, yeah, you’d probably take guys out.’
Cant wait til this jackass gets the boot.
50-0? Jeez! The Bucs were up by 3 scores, and that's stretching it as 3 TDs and 3 2pt conversions. The game was over. No way the giants were winning that game. Any starters that didn't have to be in the game should have been resting and celebrating on the bench. Bowles is DENSE sometimes, thinks we and the media are all dummies.
Not necessarily defending Bowles' statement. However, it is Coen's first season as an NFL OC, so he not only could use the live game reps, but the players themselves have only been in-system for 12 weeks? They're all still learning all the ins-and-outs of the system, and probably won't even have the entire playbook absorbed by the end of the season, so they need plenty of game reps as well. Throw in the fact that Baker is having to create chemistry with several 'new' players like Miller and Jarrett, and I can at least see a valid reason or two for keeping Baker and most of the starters out there in a blowout.
However, after Baker got dinged, I would've probably sent him to the bench, along with Evans and a few others. No point in taking undue chances, imo.

They didn’t call a single pass play in their last 3 possessions. All runs.
You’d think after unnecessarily losing Evans and Godwin, something may have been learned.
Even when Baker got dinged up, the idiot HC marched him out for 2 more possessions in a blowout to hand the ball off.
There’s simply no excuse for that level of ineptitude.

I would tend to agree. Personally, I didn't like seeing Baker go back out there after getting hurt.
I don't mind Bowles being aggressive trying to score more points even if the Bucs have a comfortable lead. The problem is that when your QB is injured time to take him out if you are just going to run the ball and run out the clock at that point. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have Trask take some reps and see what Coen can learn from him under center.

Good point.
