So much talk about Bucs taking Jihad Campbell, but it was the Eagles who reportedly tried hard to get him after getting beaten out by the Falcons and their pursuit of James Pearce:

The Eagles "eventually" get Campbell:

"The Eagles kept trying to move up, with the Lions telling them they were staying at 28 and picking their guy, and the Commanders telling them they would require an extra big package to trade with a division rival. The Eagles ended up making a much smaller move, giving up a fifth-round pick to move up from No. 32 to No. 31 and taking Jihaad Campbell. Roseman said Campbell was a Top 10 player on his board, and Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie informed Campbell that the team had spent the hour trying to trade up for him."

They were blocked by the Falcons

The Falcons traded their 2025 second-round pick, 2025 seventh-round pick and 2026 first-round pick to the Rams for the 26th overall pick and the 101st overall pick. That’s a huge price to pay — giving up next year’s first-rounder is something teams are usually only willing to agree to for a much higher pick than 26th overall — and Roseman expressed surprise when he hear those trade terms.

So how do you rank the moves?

1. Bucs not using a 19th on Campbell?

2. Falcons selling the farm for Pearce?

3. Eagles getting Campbell at 31st plus a 5th?

Who gets the best return on their move? second best? loser?

Congrats to Licht & draft team on sticking & picking in this draft. They picked good value, and took the value picks when they picked.

Between Bucs, Eagles, and …Falcons, one if these teams is not like the others.

I'll say Baltimore smoked all 3 though. Think we would have been the #1 seed with Baltimore's draft

None of these guys have played an NFL down. Could be a bust, could be a Hall of Famer. Nobody knows.

Agree, while we’d love to think we did well, until they prove themselves on an NFL field, it’s all wishful/hopeful thinking.

Agreed.  Precisely what makes it interesting.

Obviously all teams think they made the right move.

The Falcons move seems the most difficult to justify.

If Campbell is healthy and becomes a star then the Bucs might have blown it (given their need) and the Eagles made the better move, but not true necessarily if the Bucs pick becomes a star.

Bucs, Eagles, followed by the Falcons.

Don't hate what Atlanta is trying to do, but the way they went about it?

Ooof...

Agreed, Radio & Fontenot had a plan, but the ran two drafts like they’re currently fighting for their jobs?

It isn’t that they picked wrong, but this wasn’t the type of draft to move up at such a high cost.

Mark me down as Campbell because an average NFL Lb once he gets through his injury... Which in my mind doesn't make him a "bust" but something close to it.

My biggest regret with Licht is not taking Greene

Im with you on Campbell.

And, like I had said for over a month, Green was never on Licht’s board (had reliable sources on that).

an average NFL Lb

This would make Bucs winners  on Campbell and mean that the Eagles make a move that roughly equates to Logan Hall for us or even JTS, given the Eagles gave up a pick

It's sad that Bucs fans and media have no idea how good Logan Hall is. Figured lesson would have been learned after trying to run a young Will Gholston out of town.

Eagles, Bucs, Falcons. I agree with the Eagles' assessment of Campbell and wish the Bucs would have taken him, if not an edge rusher with the 19th pick. I will repeat my analogy---selecting an offensive position for the first pick in this draft instead of any defensive position of need is like purchasing stock when your fridge and cupboards are bare. Great for the future but what about today?

I am fan of Hall, just like I have always been a Gholston fan. My comment was not putting Hall down.

An "average NFL LB" role for Campbell (Fire's comment) would see him as still an important part of their defense, but maybe looked over a bit on a national level.
