Long look or just doing what every other team is doing?
"Either the Bucs are putting together one of the best smokescreens of all time or they are in a deep search to find a new starting quarterback.First, Bucs coach Lovie Smith and GM Jason Licht were reluctant to fully commit to Mike Glennon as their starting quarterback."C'mon Commish.. your sounding like typical crappy sports media here. The Bucs are pick # 7, we have a second year QB on the last ranked offense in the NFL who the currect staff had no hand in drafting.. Of course he Bucs are talking to QBs at the combine. Of course we're also looking at free agent vets because the Bucs have none. Why should Lovie keep Danny O? and of course the arent going to fully commit to Glennon at this point in time. Suggesting that it could be a huge smoke screen is down right ignorant
As it says, "bortles met with EVERY team. The bucs were one of the "formal" meetings."Meaning, they took longer than just "hi and bye."

Did anyone expect them not to? I expected the Bucs to have a real interview with Bridgewater, Manziel, Bortles, Carr, and Garopollo
Just making a general statement. There is no smokescreen. They're just exploring all of their options, as they should.
Does the commish seriously not realize that?
I guess there COULD be, but from the outside looking in, teams already should know the bucs are going to do something at qb.If anything, it could be a leverage move for fa, but Idk if that would be correct either.Simply put, they're looking all around for a qb they like.
Or more likely they are doing due diligence on players who are most likely going to be top 10 picks. Haven't we had 2 meetings with Donald too? Doesn't that mean we are going to be drafting a DT? Until FA is over no one can tell what we are going to do, and the "Commish" is just slinging crap at the wall like most media monkeys hoping that something sticks.
At least commish brought some good Bucs news in here ......... unlike some of these other fools.
I think Bortles would look good in a Buc uniform.... he won't make it to us though.

BoooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo!!!BoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!BoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
It's funny, according to Walter's Football most teams have met with 10-20 players or more at the combine....but the Bucs have met with three. Aaron Donald, Blake Bortles, and Jimmy Garoppolo. They don't even mention Manziel. More biased Buc hatred from Walter's? Or are we really only interviewing a handful of kids?
It's incorrect that's all. I know we interviewed Manziel.
