Defensive line

Beau Allen - I have mixed feelings about Beau. Solid but I haven't seen anything from him stand out either as a Buc. Is he worth the dough? You have to pay someone to play and Allen has experience, so there is that.

JPP - Straight up baller (double digit sacks with so many games to go) and can you believe it he is a year younger than McCoy and Curry? He definitely has some gas left in the tank if he takes care of himself in the off season.

Carl Nassib - What I love about Carl is that he is going to take over a game someway somehow. Whether it is with bull rushes, TFLs or even deflecting passes he is what you expect out of a disrupting DE which compliments JPP so well as a 1-2 punch. Mr. Spence take note how violent Carl and JPP are with their hands.

Vita Vea - Maybe the light has come on for Vea? Like CBs, DTs take a while to process in the league. This is because DT's must learn gap responsibility while avoiding being turned to the sideline and being put on lolrollerskates. Oh and DTs are expected to make plays on the ball too if that is not enough responsibility. When Vea starts using his paws that is when things become interesting. Vea's issues out of college were his balance and stance when engaging. He is a work in progress but he is actually learning a lot faster than I anticipated given his time missed during pre season.

Rakeem Nunez-Roaches - I do not know much about him and I haven't watched him closely. Buckner must like him to have him on the roster for so long though.

William Gholston - Nice role player but I do not think he is going to be worth that starter money at some point. Doesn't help that Nassib is 2 years younger than him too. Gholston possibly has a future with the team as a reserve DT/DE.

N. Spence - I do not see it with Spence because that explosion is not there anymore, that dip of his shoulders to turn that edge and the lack of violence in his hands. For a guy with this talent he looked so ordinary. Disappointing that he is only 24 years old but I guess time is on his side but time is running out too.

Offensive Line

Donovan Smith - I like his physicality and durability. But when he is on his game he is at best average/above average and is he worth that dough in the off season? I do not know and I wish the coaching staff would have tried him at RG/RT.

Ali Marpet - This guy is amazing wherever you line him up. He is definitely a core trench player for years to come.

Ryan Jensen - Disappointing up/down play with Jensen but I still like him long term due to his youth.

Calib Benenoch - Without a doubt this is a down year for Calib. Coming into the league missing playing time he has to accelerate his learning. I think he was thrust into the starting line up too soon, but over time will become a decent reserve RG/RT. Unless something changes I don't project him a starter long term which is why not going after Pamphile seems to hurt now.

Leonard Wester - I think between Wester and Liedtke I can see a great possibility that those two may be the future bookend starters for the Bucs. Wester seems more comfortable at RT but can play LT as well.

Michael Liedtke - Surprised everyone with his versatility playing multiple positions and is on the radar now to start somewhere in 2019 on the Bucs OL.

Alex Cappa - An obvious project as he needs strength training but I am seeing glimmers of hope from him lately. By the time 2019 training camp rolls around Cappa will have more confidence to his game.
