Which new players (FA, drafted or UFA) do you predict to be starters or majority snaps players at the beginning of the season?

For example, does Barton start? Does Smith beat out Izien (or maybe begin as back up S)? What are the lineups on both sides of the ball?

Which player, if any, most outplays his draft position?

I could see Taylor starting at nickel. Very athletic. But Smith will see plenty of time early between nickel and safety. Barton at center and then the Eagles FA at left guard. He’s a good run blocker.

Barton definitely starts from day 1 at center

feel starting edge will be JTR and Diaby but that braswell mixes in and ultimately takes job from JTR by mid year more so from a “washing hands of him” viewpoint

smith starts at nickel day 1, 3rd safety but if injury to McCollum or dean, izen on the outsides.

feel Palmer and McMillan will have camp battle for #3 WR. Both see snaps but Palmer ends the season as #3

bucky is #2 back

@badabingbucs - I don’t see Izien playing any outside corner. He’s more of a safety.

Braswell is going to start opposite of Diaby.

Smith is going to be the NB on early downs.

Irving is going to be a return specialist on KOs.

McMillan with split time wit Palmer a #3 or outright win the #3 WR job.

Barton starts at center.

Opeta should win LG because while his pass pro is poor he can run block.

I like this, also wonder if Devin Culp won’t also make it to TE, depending on the scheme.

I think SirVocea Dennis takes over at iLB.

I think if the BUC'S get there best 5 Oline on the field

LT: Wirfs

LG: Barton

C: Brederson

RG: Mauch

RT: Goedeke

I think Braswell will be in pass rushing formation and a ST stud, McMillian should win starting 3 WR unless Trey Palmer's hand gotten better. Bucky Irving will get some carries and ST player. I think Bucky might be our best actual runner but he sucks at Blitz protection is what I hear.

Come Week One, I think there's 2 starters:

1. Barton will be our starting C or LG

2. Braswell will be our EDGE #3 and get significant snaps

3. Smith will be our starting NCB

4. McMillan will be WR #4 and get significant snaps

5. Irving will be RB #3

By the end of the season, I could see Braswell and possibly McMillan (at WR3) becoming starters.

Same thoughts but Barton will be C and Izien will start, Jmc will start if Godwin isnt our slot or else palmer will play the outside

Heres to hoping Klein can be that guy at Guard.  Lots of quality starters are late round gems....Ryan Jensen just being a very recent example of that.  The PR piece makes a nice case for him being skilled in both pass and run blocking.  Also he looks pretty big.  Mauch is the one that looks a bit small to me, needs to gain some beef to push around some of the bigger dlineman we will face.  Imagine a smaller guy trying to block Vea, I suppose it would be demoralizing in a way.
