Bucs to partner with FanDuel fantasy sports website By Roy Cummings | Tribune Staff Published: April 22, 2015 TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting into the fantasy sports business.The team on Wednesday announced it has entered into a two-year partnership agreement with FanDuel, a one-day fantasy sports website.“We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with FanDuel that will offer new and exciting ways to enjoy being a football fan,” Bucs Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford said.“FanDuel has established itself as the nation’s most popular daily fantasy sports website and we look forward to tapping into their unique platform to enhance our fan experience.”As a part of the sponsorship, FanDuel will offer unique hospitality experiences for users through free-to-enter games, such as special prize package offerings and VIP access to games, as well as sponsoring fantasy football statistics and content every week on Buccaneers.com, the team’s official website.“FanDuel has partnered with the Buccaneers to create never before had opportunities for fans, like the chance to win tickets to VIP events at the Bucs facility,” said FanDuel Chief Executive Officer Nigel Eccles.“The Buccaneers are a fantastic organization and everyone at FanDuel is excited to work with the Bucs to engage their fan base throughout the season and work closely with a stellar franchise.”
