As the seasons winds down I started thinking about the future of the Bucs. I have no doubt that Koetter and probably Licht are gone after this year. Winston could be gone too. One thing that also needs to change is the uniform. 2018 was the last year before the Bucs can tweak or completely change their uniforms again. I like the current helmet but hate the current uniform design. It's crazy busy. They just tried to do too much.
I'd love for them to go back to a more classic design that is closer to the Super Bowl version. They even could take out the orange and just go with red and pewter. If they did that though, I'd want some kind of an orange alternate jersey or throwback jersey.
I know there's the helmet rule and you can't go with a white helmet. The Bucs could use a design that works with the pewter helmet. Maybe add some thin pewter pin striping to the stripes on the orange jersey/pants. It would still be very close to our originals.
I tweaked someone else's design and added the pewter helmet and a modified Bucco Bruce with a skull. You could also just use the original Bucco Bruce. All they would have to do is swap the stickers for the throwback games. I know it's not 100% throwback...but it's the closest we can get with the rules and I'd love to see it.
What do you all think about the current jerseys? I'd definitely like to see them reworked and have a 3rd orange jersey somehow.
