@cgnumber7 would’ve been 3 timeouts! If not for baker being sacked lol.
but yeah I was infuriated myself they didn’t run more clock/even run once on the to goal situation. Elementary stuff.
over a minute left they got 3 timeouts we driving in FG range running no huddle snapping the ball with 25 left on the play clock.
Last season the Bucs went on a down streak that included at least one loss where most expected a win. I think it also roughly coincided with the defense unable to get stops/pressure/turnovers.
penalties on offense … awful
playcalling in last redzone possesion … awful awful and stupid
He has me super frustrated right now but there's a reason lefty is unemployed.
You have nothing to stand on...
Canales has b2b called plays awful... but Lefty was soooo bad and got bailed out by Brady
We've scored 1 touchdown in the last 2 games and production is down in this production based league. Come on man, you've got to give me something more concrete than that to conclude " way better".
Losing culture?
we won our second SB just a few years back.
this team IS a rebuild team. A few wins early (with a great turnover margin) and suddenly it’s playoff time?
this was a tough, disappointing loss but man.
Tom Brady won us that Super Bowl. There are no more Brady's coming to save the mess the Glazers made. And here's a little nugget for you, Brady let the Glazers know last season how unprofessional their franchise is...not going to say how I know that, but I know that. The team built by Licht, minus Brady, is right back to being a non-contending mess, as it has been for most of the past 15 years. How many different players and coaches have been part of this franchise over that time span? The one constant is the Glazers, they're making the decisions and until that changes we know what the product on the field will be. Brady coming here was lightning in a bottle, a scenario like that is never happening again. Look at Belichik's coaching record without Brady on his team, it's not stellar.
At best this team is the 2010 Bucs. They'll beat some bad teams and lose to nearly all, or all, of the good teams they'll face. The Lions mostly dominated us and look what happened to them today? We're so far from being a contender it's not even funny. Evans is probably gone next season, Trask is probably starting. Lavonte is probably retiring and Shaq won't be too far behind. The Raheem years are returning and will be here for quite awhile. The Glazers will be making tens of millions per season regardless, so don't expect them to sell the team anytime soon.
Where Lefty is right now has absolutely nothing to do with why our offense stinks so bad this year. Show me some stats that says our 2023 OC is doing way better than the 2022 offense. Cause production is the criteria we use to judge performance.
Tom Brady won us that Super Bowl.
and we are paying for it this year, but how is thta even relvant. The Bucs were dominant for a decade around their last SB, even having a defense named after them.
There are something like a dozen NFL teams who have NEVER won a Super Bowl . . we've won TWICE . . both with the Glazers, incidentally.
The Rams lost today. They are 3-3
Are the Rams a losing culture?
"Canales is way better". What criteria do you base that conclusion on. PPG down Yds per came down. Just asking?Morgan - Lefty is UNEMPLOYED.
Canales is way better but certainly has room to improve.
But way better
if you can’t see the difference you’re just being a Lefty homer (is there such a thing lol) or something.
this is a new system with a makeshift line, a 3rd down back as a feature back, no reliable TE and a reclamation project QB… and even with that the potential is pretty obvious and the actual results are not far off from Lefty running a SB champion/GOAT led offense in its 3rd or 4th year under the system.
Try something different. The OL was worse last year, the TE group was worse last year, the lead RB from last year is unemployed now and didn't do any better than what White is doing this year. Brady wasn't GOATING last year. So from what you are suggesting, Canales has to the potential to be way better, but so far he hasn't like Fire claims he is because of less favorable conditions. Now I get it, we are now judging on potential rather than performance.
And yes I do see a difference. Our PPG down, our yards per game down, and we only scored 1 Td in the last 2 games.
The NFL saw the same tape we did. He's awful.
This offense is better. And doing more with less...but it still isn't good.
Both Canales and lefty stubbornly want to run the ball for no reason... and our inside 3 are the worst in the NFL by a wide margin.
Goedeke and Wirfs are playing well.
Baker has been hit or miss but Canales has schemed people open here and there... and that's more than Lefty did.
But right now we are arguing about the tallest midget
