Kiss my ass. And I only kneel for Christ and no man. It's just football. The simple reality is that Mayfield has played mediocre to horrible in about 10 games, and played average to very well in the rest. He's inconsistent. Unless he gives us a huge discount to keep players like Brady would, we're going to sign him to way too much money and likely regret it long term, unless he's truly turned the corner. We'll see.

By any reasonable standard it is true that Mayfield was an incredible signing in terms of the return the Bucs are getting. Just like the game day thread though -- where there are BEGRUDGING posts about Mayfield successfully keeping a drive alive that are finished with some version of "but he had 17 receivers open for TDs" LMAO). NOT A COINCIDENCE that kind of back-handed, through gritted teeth praise comes from posters calling for Trask AFTER THE FALCONS GAME .. . (roll the tape)
Same with White. Hate him, but he balled out.

I thought Bowles lost the team, he did not. I still think Mayfield is inconsistent, but hes playing GREAT at the moment and lot of that credit goes to Canales and his comitment to a BALANCED offense. (Bowles hired Canales, so KUDOS to Bowles) / I think our defense is weak, but they balled out too (at least when it mattered)

I guess we were spoiled by Brady expecting perfection.
I have no issue with Trask. Just rub it in to those that rather see him over the teams success. If Trask was in there, I’d be rooting for him. Not suggesting “oh well he had a few incomplete passes in a 158.3 QB rating game”
