Why wouldn't he go out and make some moves to save his coach then? Otherwise just do the entire fanbase a favor and fire him now, since his coaching and Licht's lack of roster improvement have cost us the season.
Barton has some rookie yips where he absolutely whiffs or his botches the snap.
The snap was on Baker. There was one whiff. He was pretty good on the other 55 snaps, including two blocks out in space that sprung both backs for TD’s.
But you can focus on the one negative play, if you like.
I still think JPP will be the better true center.
Is he even playing that position yet?

Barton wasn't good last week either. He's been hit or miss and my biggest thing is JPP is a center. Barton is a guard adapting to center.
But that could also be an argument to say Barton will only get better.

Go watch the play again. The entire line moved at the same time, which tells you the snap was on time. The snap hit Baker in the midsection, which tells you it was an accurate snap. And then Baker gets up and taps his chest, which tells you he is saying it’s on him.
Every bit of evidence points toward it being on the QB.

Very disappointing to lose after the highlight reel effort by Mayfield on that last drive. Couldn't punch it in. Defense couldn't stop a 41 second drive with one timeout.Baker did as much as he could when all he has to throw to are backs and tight ends
