If we win the division but lose in the first round: 60/40 he gets fired
If we win the first round: 20/80 he gets fired (so not getting fired)
If we make it to the NFCCG then 5/95 he gets fired
I'm hoping we promote him to front office
Anything less than a NFCCG appearance should be viewed as a failure (as I said all offseason).
And, since the Glazers stated they wanted to see “improvement”, I think that’s their barometer.
So you are putting it at what? 100% he’s fired if doesn’t make the champ game?

what if they define improvement differently than what you or I are defining it as

Then, we get yet another year of ineptitude from your boy.
And, hopefully, Liam hangs around another year to bail him out.

my argument is not whether Bowles deserves to get fired or not, but more so will he. That doesn’t make him my boy. Clearly Coen is more important to retain. In todays NFL, it was negligent to hire a defensive minded coach to begin with.
that being said, the only chance he likely has to get fired is if Bucs lose to saints this week. And I do hope we are able to retain coen with $$$

Not sure Bowles gets past this season, but I can 100% guarantee the Glazers define it differently because, as one really easy example, Glazers have mentioned the INJURIES as a factor this season. Licht too
That shouldn't be surprising though because no reasonable person (which is to say at least half of the RB! lol) would look at this season compared to last and not see INJURIES as a significant difference
and yet here we are again . . on the verge of playoffs.
They could still lose Sunday
I guess we will see

And, as Bowles’ biggest and loudest supporter, can you remind us why we lost Godwin for the season? Or, Evans for multiple games? Same with AWJ at the beginning of the year?
Please explain. Thank you.

if Carr plays, i'd even garner to say, it's likely we lose on Sunday. In that case, we easily have cause to fire Bowles.

DH, I understand that you want to troll and so to troll you have to put people into boxes to DISCOUNT their point of view, but I am not "Bowles’ biggest and loudest supporter." I am a Buc fan.
All I said in the post you quoted was that the Glazers do NOT likely see the Bowles scenario like you do. I mean, how is that even controversial? lol.

We get it, we get it.
Everyone that has a differing opinion of you is a troll, a sock account, bi-posting, etc.
Your shtick is more tired and used than the device you have to blow in to start your car.
Why is it so difficult for you to answer a question that’s been given you to multiple times over the last few months:
Can you remind us why we lost Godwin for the season? Or, Evans for multiple games? Same with AWJ at the beginning of the year?
?
but I am not "Bowles’ biggest and loudest supporter."
A clinical lack of self-awareness.
There is no indication the Glazers are ready to open the pocket book for another superbowl run right now. A big part of Dungy being dismissed was not only the failure to win in the playoffs. But because McKay and Dungy spent money on free agents that did not push the team over the top which is why the Bucs were called paper champs by a lot of the media at the time.
Right now the Bucs and Licht are very conservative with how they are spending money and 2025 looks more of the same.
So Bowles would have to lose the last regular season game for him to be canned on a very cheap head coaching contract. The last time the Bucs organization fired a head coach without opening the checkbook it was Raheem Morris. But Morris was fired primarily for his conduct off the field that impacted his performance on the field as a HC.
Dungy, Koetter, Lovie, Gruden etc have one thing in common and that is once the checkbook is opened up and they do not deliver they are on a shorter leash to perform. That is not the case currently for Bowles.

No, just not a dope which is what you would have to be to be moved by that child-like troll
I don't view you as an ardent Bowles supporter. I view your stance as playing devil's advocate.

Yes, that is fair.
And with ZERO disrespect intended to anyone here . . it is a pretty easy place to post as the "devil's advocate."
Its easy because many of the takes here are over-the top. Most just the norm for excited fans, but then they go up from there to the obvious trolls with their intentional over the top posts and open hypocrisy trying to make people angry lol.
Funny to even type that. haha
I am a Bucs fan. I admittedly have a much more LONG-TERM and REALIST view than many but that is the product of seeing the Bucs spends years making bad moves. Rapid fire coaching changes during the so-called "lost decade," as one easy example. Still a fan. Games still interesting. We have a good FO so enjoy the ride!!
Anyway, with that type of perspective its not hard to imagine the team (even if I do not personal agree with it) sticking with Bowles, for example. It is not even hard to imagine how that could work out, while still being obviously impressed with Coen. Things generally work out. Many fans see most things as a crisis.
At the end of last year plenty of people expressed angst over Canales leaving, right? I di not wnat him to leave and I am not comparing Canales to Coen, just saying that it usually works out okay. Last season there were long threads fretting over who would come back WHEN THEY WERE ALL COMING BACK ALL ALONG.
Mayfield did not bankrupt the team . . etc etc etc
The margins in the NFL are measured in fractions of inches not miles. Most PLAYERS and coaches are capable of winning it all IN THE RIGHT SCENARIO. And all players . . every one of them. . . travel on an arc and have pluses and minuses. If Devin White's actions angered you or his personality rubbed you the wrong way or even if you thought he was "oveerrated" that does not mean he was "always useless." That would be "un-ratable" lol . . and he was nearly the SB MVP.
