they still should. How easy was it to just run. Why make it harder. Coaches don’t put us in best situations to win. They hinder us
Offense came around...was it a perfectly called game? of course not, but you cant run it 80% of the time..
The offensive line is two first round picks and two second round picks. Going into today Bucs were 2nd in ypc at 5.1 and today they ran for 5.8 ypc. Sean Tucker is averaging OVER 7 YARDS A FUCKING CARRY. They can run the ball all day but he wants to throw on 2nd and short all game.
The Seahawks steam rolled the Cardinals and I think the Bucs are capable copying that style of play. Call it Harbaugh ball because we are going to see that next week between the Bucs and Chargers.
exactly. If we run when we should, easy win, not going into 4th with a possibility to lose. It’s been pretty darn clear we need to run the ball. My 80 yr old grandma asked me, why we kept trying to throw when it seemed we were getting 4 yards every run. It’s ridiculous
It's pretty obvious much more dynamic our offense is with Bucky.
White played well tho
The offense was pretty dynamic on the first two drives and Bucky did very little during them. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a good player and the team is better with him.
I think the fall off after those first two drives was mainly from poor QB play and the OC getting too cute, not Bucky being sidelined. Coen has got to learn when it’s ok to keep pounding the rock.
Disagree. I think Bucky in makes Coen more confident running the ball than with White.
But either way Coen finally got back to running it and it allowed the line to settle.
Because let's face it... Baker was on skates doing stupid shit because the line was getting annihilated.
After watching this team this past two weeks..none of these games left are guaranteed wins. the qb play has been awful, defense cant tackle and our best WR is playing on one leg. OL and the run game is going to have to get us these games.

I'm not sure you can call 300 yards, 3 TDs, 2 picks "awful".
He made some bad plays for sure but he's still playing like a top 10 QB imo
Awful was too harsh. He was at times terrible and at times good. Based on the last two games I will disagree that he playing like a top 10 qb. he was awful at times. this was his worst game this year, and it didn't have to be that way. leading 14:0 vs. the worst team in the league you do not have to force anything!
let's see who is available next week and how it all wraps up. falcons are awful, we've got a real chance!

I'm not going to speculate on Coen's confidence level on either player. Considering how he's used them, I would guess he's pretty confident in both guys.
But you don't disagree that the first two offensive drives were pretty dynamic and that Bucky didn't do much on them, no?

I don't think the OL was that bad. I actually thought they did pretty well, especially on Crosby. And in run blocking, they had a pretty great day.
But the pass blocking looked worse than it actually was because Mayfield wasn't getting rid of the ball on time. He was indecisive and jumpy in the pocket. Maybe he was concerned Crosby was going to get there faster than he actually did or something, I don't know. But it wasn't his best game in the pocket, for sure.

agreed
and trying to do too much
PR - "Todd Bowles’ unit played pretty well in the game, holding a struggling Raiders offense to just 13 points on Sunday. Tampa Bay’s defense has only allowed a total 43 points in three games since the bye week, which is an average of just 14.3 points per game. That’s a far cry from the 31.3 points per game the Bucs defense was surrendering during the team’s four-game losing streak prior to the bye, which caused the team to slump to 4-6 on the year."
weak competition, but still getting it done with an ever changing back up lineup
and stopping Brock Bowers, which is an added treat!

You forgot to mention the fumble. 3 TO's and 3 TD's. A game reminiscent of Jameis "Eating W's" Winston.
You forgot to mention the fumble. 3 TO's
I think Mayfield even says he was the worst offensive player on the field yesterday, so spot on Kermit
someone else would have to find the stats but NFL teams dont often win with 3 TOs, right?
They played a two-win team, took it to them for fourteen points and then tried to help them to come back and win number three. It was on Baker, and he will have better games in the future, but I'm not confident it will be smooth sailing to the division title. You forgot to mention the fumble. 3 TO's

The Falcons play the Raiders and the Giants next, while the Bucs play the Chargers and Cowboys. We'll likely be in a tie going into the last two weeks of the season and we'll have to hope that ATL can't beat the Commandos. The Falcons are likely to win 3 of 4 to end up 9-8. The Bucs need to win 3 of 4 to get into the playoffs. If they lose to the Chargers, that means they have to win out after that. So, all in all, I'm not feeling comfortable right now, not with the way the Bucs have played the last two weeks.

great that we are leading the division, but still very tough road ahead
