You guys know how I feel about Chubb. The #1 priority for this team is pass rush. After taking a better look at how the Senior bowl went down though, I think we can fix our pass rush with the help of a couple of Senior Bowl standouts.

1. Marcus Davenport DE UTSA - Senior bowl reports for the first couple days were bad, but he showed up the 3rd day and in the game. He showed some hand fight, and consistency getting in the backfield, which is what I wanted to see.

2. Terrell Edmunds S VA Tech - Underrated Safety prospect with the size and tackling ability (assuming the torn labrum which he smartly got surgery on in November is all good). Would be a great strong safety to pair with Justin Evans at FS.

3. Marquis Haynes Edge Miss State - I'd love for the Bucs to run more 3-4 fronts, but I don't want them to run a 3-4. They should run 5 man D-Line, Wade Phillips style fronts. Haynes may not have the physique or size of Noah Spence, and he may have a learning disability, but unlike Spence he can use his hands well through contact, and can get after the QB with more than just speed.

4. Alex Cappa OT Humboldt State - I don’t think cupboard is as empty on our O-Line as a lot of fans do. If the Bucs can sign a guy in Free Agency for either center or RG, get JR Sweezy into a reserve role, then draft a guy who can be more consistent than Smith at LT, and allow Smith to kicking into LG, I think we would become a much, much better OL. This class is pretty deep at Tackle. If we really like Cappa or another Tackle, we could trade up into the 3rd and get our guy. The earlier picks I have are probably guys we could find a trade down or 2 for and still get.

5. Martez Carter RB Grambling - Bucs should add at least one old bu dependable power back in Free Agency imo. Blount and/or Gore would be great options. Doing so and drafting a better Tarik Cohen to replace Simms would really upgrade our backfield.

6. Eddy Pineiro K Florida - I know a lot of you will scoff at drafting a Kicker again, but look no further than the playoff teams this year and every year to see how important a kicker who you can trust from 50+ is. We can’t just assume one of those guys is going to fall into our lap.
