They killed the NFC South's best.
How were those teams built?
Can you say Manziel....
So build great defenses? I'm for it.
It's that easy huh?
they beat the 3 defense in the nfl..

Yep
how it is when a defense must respect the legs of a QB..
It's that easy huh?
Right. NFL is so trendy. What's hot is old news pretty fast. Look at the Giants. We tried to copy them and look where that brought us. Totally failure. Of course we were nothing like them. It really comes down to having a defense that can get after a qb which we don't have. A qb who can win big games which we don't have and a no line that can block well which we don't have. This team has it's work cut out. Of course since it's so trendy Lovie could cook up something new and make Tampa 2 get it's groove back. Could being the key word.

Power running attack, mobile QB, strong OL, deep DL, deep secondary, great tackling, lights out special teams.
How were those teams built?
Through the trenches! Both teams have invested highly into offensive lines and defensive lines. The 49ers haveAnthony Davis (first round pick)Mike Iupati(first round pick)Joe Staley(first round pick)Alex BooneJon GoodwinSeahawks:James Carpenter(first round pick)Max Unger(second round pick)Russell Okung(first round pick)Bucs haven't used a pick on offensive lineman, well, high pick since Zuttah in 2008. If you look at the Pats and Broncos they've also spent high picks on OLine too.
Didn't think the Seahawks had a great OL but I could be wrong I don't really follow them.
Hey...how about we build our team like the Buccaneers and stop trying to emulate another team. All I ever heard during the Dominik days was how we wanted to be like the Giants/Pats/Packers/etc. Focus on our team and their identity and stop trying to follow someone else.
Originally it was the a steelers.

didn't most of the year with Okung out.Reality is that for all the usual "analysis" above the simple fact is the neither SEA nor SF are really good at running the ball - they are like most run teams really able to hand off a lot. Gore and Lynch average a sterling 4.1 and 4.2 ypc respectively which isn't a great figure obviously. Neither are in the top 20 of running backs. By contrast Wilson and Kaepernick are both guys with better than 91 QBR's and are top 10 QB's.
