I like the pick a lot and thought Detroit was going to take him. Kancey and Vea will cause havoc!

You know how all those third and longs and teams were able to convert late in the season. That will be a bit harder with Kancey on the field in third down situations. Bucs front seven needed more a nasty edge and that is what Kancey brings.
@gametime - we play 4 down linemen nickel defense 60% of the time. He fits the under tackle spot perfectly.

I don't mind the pick. It's better than desperately trying to pick a QB because it's a need. They must view Kancey as BPA. Fair enough
But it's a risky pick for sure. He has 1% percenticle arms. Historically short arms. It matters less at IDL but it still matters. For all the comparision to Donald, he has 2 inch longer arms and is significantly stronger. This is a boom or bust pick.
The most important thing I look for in prospects is production and pass and pressure win percentages. Tryon failed that metric and it hasn't turned out well so far. Hall was pretty bad in this area too and had a bad rookie year. At least Kancey dominates this metric. All his numbers are elite. But the size and arm length is scary.

Bucs are becoming younger and better in the front seven this off season. That is a promising sign and hoping the Bucs can add an edge rusher and ILB as well.

Hell yea! We've always needed a playmaker next to Vita since Suh left. Hicks was a huge flop and Nacho was just a guy. Kancey can play inside and out which is huge, definitely didn't think he'd be there at 19. LET VITA CLOG IT UP AND KANCEY CLEAN IT UP!!!
