If Canales is the “adapt” version of Carroll that would be great. If he’s the “die” version most people here will flip their lid especially with Bowles at the helm because he’s clearly a run more guy

a more creative version of Carroll as OC with a true Bowles defense would be EXACTLY what fans should want if Trask is under center.

Again,

His presser was a breath of fresh air versus the turd we dealt with last year.

It's not all that difficult for someone to be more impressive than Byron Leftwich during a presser. He was one of the worst communicators I've ever heard in terms of NFL coaches with that much responsibility.

Josh Queipo on the Canales presser:

”1. Base package sys. is what he learned from Waldron over past 2 yrs. Made numerous ref. 2 “the system” and QB’s who have operated in McVay sys. (Goff, Rodgers, Russ circa 21, Geno). But he also mentioned keeping a sight adj. from 14, so still influences from prior.

2. Talked about QB being point guard and giving receivers easier releases. = emphasis on YAC. Something sorely missing from 2022 Bucs.

3. Focus on what is working. IE not trying to put square peg in round hole.

4. Seems to want to move CG outside more. Expect his target share to go down slightly bc of this, but his explosives to go up.

5. Assuming Evans plays the DK role I would expect his tgt share 2 increase. Canales also mentioned getting him (and CG) cleaner releases off of motion.”

For sure. Lots of reasons he should be a good OC. Not sure about the tools at his disposal. Need our TE to really step up. More grit in the O-line.

excited to see what our young RB can do with Canales at the helm.

Certainly hope we keep Godwin and he’s truly healthy again

last year Brady tried the “point guard” approach a lot

Why would anybody let factual information change their inferior opinions?

It's a helluva question that the dumbass duo are unable to answer, either directly or indirectly.

Carroll-style offense would drive some of the fans here nuts

On his offense emphasizing the run

This is really interesting because is Evans same mold as DK?

Probably won’t be that difficult to be more impressive than Byron Leftwich on the field either.

He said Peete’s interview could’ve ended  with “zero fumbles”

lol

here’s your “not Leftwich” nod ..

They’ve already been so supportive, just wanting to expand with some of the ways that we build formations so it’s not these single things that happen. We can move stuff that’s going to look really hard for the defense but going to be pretty simple for us.”

But, but, I thought he was going to run the same 5-7 plays like Lefty did?

Derp…

It’s Harold Goodwin (and Arians offense) he’s speaking about. That run game is one foundational run that is built off of. That’s actually on the PR website.

Honestly, I think hes going to make a good offensive coordinator for some team in 2024 after he's fired as part of the Bucs full house cleaning off season.

Like I posted you have to admire anyone who goes all in on themselves like he is doing
