We won't know what Julio could have given this offense had it been the same one from the prior 2 years.
I still don't have a problem with the signing but it makes no sense that we wanted to be run heavy but signed Gage and Julio.
The team lacked an identity. The brain, heart, and feet all had different ideas of how to exist.

solid points
There was nothing in Gage's career in Atlanta nor skill set that made it a good signing.
Something that I cannot understand or get a read on was why Scotty Miller was essentially banished to Buccaneers hell after the Packers NFCCG.
- Spent a 4th round pick on Darden to replace him. Failed.
- Gave Russell Gage 3 years, $30M with $15M guaranteed. Failed.
Even with Gage hurt they still wouldn't play Miller. Bucs were bottom of the league in team speed and explosive plays with the most explosive player on the team covering kicks.

i agree. Not sure what happened
to be fair, in 2021, Miller was plagued with injuries and AB was essentially the #3. Nobody stepped up to fill the #2 and #3 roles. So that’s what prompted Bucs to sign Gage (agree I didn’t like it) and Jones. If Bucs had a competent WR in playoffs opposite evans, they feel like they could have won
