Lets just get right to it.

"For those of you that are close-minded and want Licht gone no matter what, skip this section and go straight to Fab 2 where I lay out the case for his departure."

Scott coming with some heat right out of the gate.

"Yes, I believe the Glazers can pick a worse general manager than Licht."

This is an odd argument. There is not way to quantify how good a GM is or isn't, because opions on players are subjective, BUT Licht has the worst on field results of any GM who has been with his team since 2014 and beyond.

"In his five drafts with the Buccaneers, Licht has selected three Pro Bowlers in wide receiver Mike Evans, quarterback Jameis Winston and middle linebacker Kwon Alexander."

This is a big reach labeling Winston and Alexander as Pro-Bowlers. Going as an alternate one year isn't the same as going on a consistant basis. The consensus opinion from the knoweldgeable part of the fan base is to let Kwon walk because he's just not that good. There's so many holes in labeling Winston a pro-bowler, I don't have to explain why it isn't legitimate.

"He hasn’t allowed any of the Bucs’ better players to leave via free agency."

Bradley McDougald and Akeem Spence for cheap deals.

"Licht has constructed an offense that is among the best in the league. "

At the direct expense of the defense. He's put a completely unbalanced amout of draft capital into the offense.

"Signing center Ryan Jensen was a big offseason coup for Licht."

He made a career backup the highest paid center in the league and he's playing like a fringe starter. This signing is a disaster.

"There is no doubt that the Bucs are a more talented team now than when Licht arrived on the scene in 2014."

He's had 5 years of cap room and high picks. 6 years ago this team went 7-9 with a top 10 offense and bad defense. What's really changed?

"Tampa Bay doesn’t have an offense – Licht has built an arsenal. What could be done to improve the Bucs defense in a year?"

In the 2014 and 2015 drafts he used only a 4th round pick on a defensive player. Like I said earlier, this offensive arsenal and bad defense is by design. It took years of poor defensive drafting to put us in this position and it will take years to fix it, but this is Licht's fault.

"Licht’s biggest fault as Tampa Bay’s general manager has not been finding a reliable kicker."

No, defense and offensive line. In 5 years he's drafted just one offensive lineman and no defensive players that play at an above average level.

"Licht is building a playoff-caliber roster in Tampa Bay, mainly through the draft, which is the way most Super Bowl teams are built. The evidence in this comparison exercise suggests that he should stick around and finish the job."

How many years does he get to buid this playoff-caliber roster? Because after 5 years he doesn't have it. Koetter has been coaching this team with one hand tied behind his back because of this lousy offensive line, defense and kicking game.
