is going to be a ball control offense and zone type of defense.Lets start with the offense:QB: McCown is not a ball control QB as most of his work last year were lobs on go routes to big WR's that Chicago had.  Once he is forced to sit in the pocket under pressure he can't deliver short/intermediate throws because he is throwing off his back foot.  As a result it causes his passes to float especially between the hasmarks.  There was only one drop back where I saw where he stood in the pocket and planted his feet despite pressure coming. On the other hand, 2nd year QB Davis showed very good footwork and was planting his feet everytime he was throwing and going through progressions.  McCown's QBR may have been better than last week but he made far more ill advised throws this week than last  which the Rams failed to capitalize on (at least three additional backfoot floaters that could have been picked in addition the red zone INT)..  Glennon needs to start if Lovie wants to play Buc ball 2.0.  The argument for not starting Glennon was that he takes too many sacks holding the ball too long and is not good under pressure.  Right now McCown subjectively speaking doesn't pass the eyeball test of being a QB that can function under pressure and tosses the ball mid field like a maniac instead of eating a sack.  Taking a sack is not a bad play as Morrison said in yesterday's game. It would have been the difference in the game too.RB: Martin should be part of the offense but he needs to take a back seat to Rainey and James.  A three headed monster is going to be needed if Lovie wants to run Buc Ball 2.0.  Rainey and James simply look more explosive out there despite not having many holes.TE: Luke Stocker is a waste of a roster spot because he continues to whiff on his blocks.  Myers is clearly a starter because Lovie wants to run a ground and pound offense.  ASJ needs to be the #2 guy as he needs the experience.WR: Carrying so many WR's kind of pointless given how little the slot WR will be used with this offense.  But they do have value when in the no huddle situations.  Not that it matters at the moment with Buc ball 2.0.FB: You would think Lane would be a bigger part of the offense given the ground ball strategy so I want to see him more involved.Defensively:  DL: Bowers needs to go back as the undertackle as he simply lacks the tenacity needed to play RDE.  Hopefully Johnson is back and it will allow Bowers to slide to UT.  Gholston seems to pass the mustard test as a LDE so he will be fine.LB: Fletcher looks more comfortable out there playing in zone and you have to wonder would it be better to put Foster at SAM?DB: Safties are keeping everything in front of them but like the rest of the DB's the Bucs are playing too soft with their zones.  Which is why teams will throw the slants all day if that doesn't change.  That needs to change fast.
