As for the owners, to guys like George Steinbrenner and Malcolm Glazer there was more to the equation than just making money. Of course they were rich men, but they wanted to be seen as people who did something good with their money. Some owners want to be seen as making a positive impact. Some owners just want to be seen. Rarely does an owner of a major league sports team want to stay unknown. They want a team that reflects well on them. Winning helps polish up that image nicely, but bad characters can tarnish it.
can you imagine an NFL team or NFL players offering to refund their fans tickets because they played poorly? Or, pay the travel expense of the fans who traveled to watch their NFL team play poorly for an away game?
not a regular occurrence but happens in, for example, English Premier League
Banks is 23 years old so he is young but he has to keep himself clean. Not necessary to explain himself, just turn the page and move on.

agreed
if he doesn’t play well he will be gone too quickly anyway.
NFL patience with bad character players is directly related to their performance on the field lol
Unfortunately that's true, but I can't say I'd have an easy time with it either. If a 3rd stringer screws up, it's easy to make an example of him to show the team that you don't tolerate bad behavior. But if it's Antonio Brown or Warren Sapp who screws up, then when you punish them you punish the whole team. Even the players are probably saying "Hey we need this guy..."Banks is 23 years old so he is young but he has to keep himself clean. Not necessary to explain himself, just turn the page and move on.

With a Banks, he's a UDFA ,not good enough to warrant a bunch of extra chances. And lets face it, this is not a nothing issue to the teams of the NFL. Banks was supposedly a 4th round talent who went totally undrafted. So his character issues were enough of a red flag for 32 teams to totally pass on him, even with a 7th round comp pick. And when he was suspended from Tennessee his defense totally tanked and gave up 63 points. So he has the ability to pull in some loyalty in the locker room. The Bucs obviously are aware of the red flags around this guy and they're giving him a chance. But I think Bowles and the leaders of the defense have a handle on things and would not let a minor role player upset the apple cart.
I have a feeling that Banks can make this squad because the Bucs are starved of talented ILBs and D. White is crying again like a girl LMAO.

Didn’t they cut him yesterday?

Yes.
lolz
Honestly wasn’t sure.
Thought I read that he was and that it wasn’t football performance related.
