It's a Bucs life :::sigh:::
"What I hear is they really like Liam Coen, like not like him, but really like him,” Frangie said. “That he did really well in his interview a couple of nights ago. It was an 8:30 p.m. interview. And if it’s not Ben Johnson, it’s Liam Coen.”
Again, Frangie works for the team and yesterday he further explained he was told Coen, along with Johnson and Aaron Glenn, “wowed” the team and “jumped off the page” compared to other candidates."
Interesting
The Packers are interviewing another candidate for their defensive line coach opening on Tuesday.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that they are interviewing Kacy Rodgers for the position.
Bowles right hand guy and NOT one of the defensive coaches PR has campaigned to replace.
Could be routine market checking because his contract is up, but could also be a sign . . .
Not looking good for the Bucs."What I hear is they really like Liam Coen, like not like him, but really like him,” Frangie said. “That he did really well in his interview a couple of nights ago. It was an 8:30 p.m. interview. And if it’s not Ben Johnson, it’s Liam Coen.”

We really keeping mediocre Bowles and losing an offensive genius. We're in deep shit
You had no idea who he he was 12 months ago.
You can save that.
File it next to "Adam Humphries better 3rd down receiver than Godwin" and "Tucker is Emmitt Smith"
Ben Johnson named Chicago Bears new HC.
Does Chicago know that dumbass Ben Johnson called a play that the Red Board GM didn’t like? That franchise is going to get fried.
Ben Johnson will flop in Chicago. You can save that.
Most do flop in Chicago and elsewhere, so that's not really stepping out on a wire. Being a HC is not the same as being an OC or DC.
But if he had a GM like you? Look out, world...
Feel like jaguars isn't an attractive job but what do I know. Maybe they are offering a lot of money.
The Times
Bucs preparing for Liam Coen to be offered Jaguars job
Kacy interviews today. Times reports Coen to get offered Jaguar job.
are we about to see a switch at HC?
We're so fucked.
To keep fucking Bowles.
I just can't...
What's hard to understand is that yes, there are only 32 HC jobs in the NFL, but why do some of these young up-and-comers put themselves into such bad situations? The Jags are a crap franchise going nowhere. The Bucs are just a few players away from being a serious contender for NFC supremacy. I agree with those here who have said Coen should go the Johnson route and stay for another year or two. His stock will continue to rise, and the opportunity to achieve something special with the Bucs is way better than with the Jags. Just my $0.02 for what its worth.

It's the $$$. HCs usually get some kind of guaranteed $$$, like 5 years/$10M/yr, most of it guaranteed (completely made up those numbers just for the sake of example). Coordinators' salaries aren't usually guaranteed, so they're living year-to-year. Usually, anyway. I know Spags' new extension came with a guarantee, I just don't remember how much.
