Lawrence is the problem for Coen. Lawrence misses an easy short pass and then follows up with a 40 yard laser followed by a TO because the play clock ran down.

Which is crazy to me because he felt like one of the most "sure thing" blue chip prospects in awhile.
At this point it’s super clear that Grizz was why Coen looked so good last season. It’s weird…

Good God you are so painfully dumb sometimes
Bucs pass third down conversion rate was one of the best in the league and Grizzard had his hands all over that last year. I haven't looked it up this year but Grizzard is definitely stronger as a player caller through the air while Coen was a better play caller on the ground. Granted Grizzard is missing some key OL but it still is something we can evaluate early on.

And Coen is walking into a dumpster fire and has them competitive while implementing a new system.
It's an absolutely ridiculous comparison.

You haven't looked it up, yet are declaring Grizz superior?
OK, so based on what?
Look it up and let's talk about the stats to back up the claim.

You should see how many injuries Grizz walked into. Godwin, Wirfs, Mauch, Goedeke, McMillan, Evans, Egbuka, Bucky Irving and has Tampa answering the bell time and time again with timely play calling.
I love Liam but he did us dirty and we should at least stop with the verbal felatio. We are good here in Tampa.
Tampa averaging 27 pts a game, Jacksonville averaging around 21 points a game.
Without knowing the calls it's always a guessing game but it should be clear that so far at least their is a deep element that was not regularly a part of Coens offense.
some of that is Mayfiekd and even the receivers but Grizz talked about it in the offseason.
ultimately, who cares especially with so many variables. Just happy it's working
Crazy autocorrect
if grizz continues this way we will have to look for another OC next year 😑
Grizz is heading the right direction. His first 3-4 games were average at best. Love to see that progress. But we also need to see it in large numbers.
Falcons - C+ grade but also Baker was rusty. Full strength outside of Wirfs and Godwin
Texans - C- good start and brutal play calling until the last drive that was rescued by Baker having a miracle 4th down run
Jets - B way too conservative. Again Baker with 2 late game heroic drives. Part of the issue was Bowles being conservative
Eagles - C with 2 big plays on scramble drills. Offense had no identity. Baker kept challenging their best corner. Weird game plan
Seahawks - A+ outside of 2 or 3 plays this was a master class
Niners - B+ we benefited from some key injuries but overall we moved the ball extremely well and do so without key players.
Where as Coen is trying to find ways to win with a new system, a worse QB, zero winning culture, BT regressing, and he's still found some ways to win. I didn't think Jags would be over 500 did you?
While I agree with your overall game-by-game assessment, it does kinda follow the offensive line adjustments in the 1st 3 games, then getting better as the starters began returning/getting back into game speed on the left side of the line.Grizz is heading the right direction. Oh for sure and perhaps his grades should be on a curve for that...
But that doesn't mean he was good in those first few games.
But the most important thing is he's getting better.
