People act like they're everywhere but we purposely choose not to have an elite QB here in Tampa.

We just need a new strategy for finding one. Signing Dan Orlovsky and drafting Josh Johnson and Mike Glennon isn't the way. Drafting one early in the draft is at least an attempt. Freeman was an attempt. I just think you need to attempt this more than once every 5 years. My idea is to always be looking for the guy and if you have an opportunity you need to try to get him.
One of the greatest playoff games ever. Football is good.
Yeah, it's always fun to watch a clearly inferior team get a lucky win because half the other teams players get knocked out of the game.
Looks like someone is a wittle Chiefs fan. Sowwy your team didn't win and you didn't have fun watching the game little guy.

Freeman was an enigma. Many of the people I remember had him graded as a 3rd or 4th round pick. A couple people fell in love with his "potential" or whatever. And Raheem rolled E with him when Josh was at KSU so he felt connected. Let's not act like that was a legitimate attempt. An attempt to find a franchise QB is taking a kid like Manziel or Bridgewater who lit up teams week after week and put on shows and carried their teams.

Ok.... Colts have a lot of good players too, and one of their best is out for the season. KC played well, and is a good team, but pass rush was overrated. Props to the Colts. Hope the Bengals win so we can see the Colts against New England next week. Offense is the rule of the league now days.
Think NFL wants Colts/NE or Colts/Broncos?
That was an insane playoff game. Andrew Luck just did wonders for the Colts for years to come. After this game, his teammates will ALWAYS believe they can come back from any deficit and it is never too late.It may be hard to find Andrew Lucks, but as long as guys like him exist.....I just can't get on board with settling for a Glennon. We need to keep searching until we find our guy. Our fan base and attendance sucks because we have never had a QB like Andrew Luck. They QB is everything in football. You can win with a great defense and an average game managing QB....but you will never have the die hard fan base like a team with a stud franchise QB. It just makes everything different.
Problem with that is you still have to play football if you don't have one.
So you just keep building the best team you can so when you find him you are all set to go....but you can't give up looking and settle for just ok at the QB position. You have to keep searching for greatness imo.
Drew Brees developed into an elite QB well after he was drafted. So did Aaron Rogers. Steve Young was run out of town. Glennon didn't set the world on fire but the potential is there. It's going to be very telling after the coaching staff makes their choice.
It is hard to build a solid team though if you routinely use high draft picks on quarterbacks.
