Drew Brees developed into an elite QB well after he was drafted. So did Aaron Rogers. Steve Young was run out of town. Glennon didn't set the world on fire but the potential is there. It's going to be very telling after the coaching staff makes their choice.
Brees. Rodgers, and Young all have/had the elusiveness to extend plays and improvise.
One of the greatest playoff games ever. Football is good.
Yeah, it's always fun to watch a clearly inferior team get a lucky win because half the other teams players get knocked out of the game.
Looks like someone is a wittle Chiefs fan. Sowwy your team didn't win and you didn't have fun watching the game little guy.
Looks more like I found a sad 'wittle' closet Colt's fan dreaming of his chance to suck Luck. You have to be 1) a diehard colt sucker, 2) on crack, or 3) completely ignorant of football realities to think there was a snowballs chance in hell of the colts coming back without that unbelievable run of injuries. And the only team I give a rat's azz about is the one who's message board I'm posting on right now. I know it must be confusing for you, bouncing back and forth from Indy to Denver.
Went all in on the Saints yesterday. Never bought in that hype. If only the Chiefs didn't choke that game away.
Clearly inferior? Dude, it's the 2nd time the colts beat them this year. They also beat Denver, SF, and Seattle. Give them their due.

Don't forget they also had 16 guys on IR plus a bunch of active guys like both starting corners who were really banged up.Hey, if injuries are a "reason" for us having one of the worst offenses in the past half decade it can be used to explain why the Colts weren't even better.
Our fan base and attendance sucks because we have never had a QB like Andrew Luck. ....but you will never have the die hard fan base like a team with a stud franchise QB. It just makes everything different.
Huh?
Man, can you believe what a hole Luck dug for his team? He stinks and shouldn't have been down that much in the first place. The only reason you have to come from behind is because you're losing.

Just sayin that when you have a Favre or a Manning or a Brady.....it's a whole different ball game from a marketing standpoint. The QB is the face of the franchise and when you have a truly great one, the fan base becomes an entirely different monster. It's much easier to sell out your games year after year when you have a great QB.

lol, well apparently we didn't get the message for those 12-13 years straight of selling out

Ok.... Colts have a lot of good players too, and one of their best is out for the season. KC played well, and is a good team, but pass rush was overrated. Props to the Colts. Hope the Bengals win so we can see the Colts against New England next week. Offense is the rule of the league now days.
Actually, the Colts don't have many good players at all. Other than Robert Mathis, Andrew Luck and TY Hilton, their roster is pretty bad. I hope they get blown out next week.

what do you care? I like rooting for underdogs. I certainly don't need to see Tom Brady in the Super Bowl for a 6th time.

The Colts have made the playoffs something like 10 out of the last 11 years. You aren't sick of them being there either?
So you just keep building the best team you can so when you find him you are all set to go....but you can't give up looking and settle for just ok at the QB position. You have to keep searching for greatness imo.
So do you use a 1st round pick every year until you know for sure? No, of course not. You take your chances when its reasonable. Glennon played fairly well with very little in terms of offensive weapons. There will be no QB at 7 that is worth picking. There is no QB in this draft that will be worth multiple 1st round picks to trade up.Glennon is the guy next year unless a 2nd/4th/5th round rookie blows everyone away in training camp or we sign or trade for a vet.
