Christian McCaffrey - 5' 11" 202 pounds and 9" hands without explosive traits is a red flag
Brian Hill 8 7/8" hands
Donnel Pumphrey 8 1/2" hands
Marlon Mack 9" hands
Dalvin Cook and Leonard Fournette both have 9 1/4" hands. Not a major red flag but not ideal
JJ Dielmann - 32 1/4' arms
Dan Orlosky - 32 1/4" arms
Antonio Garcia 32 7/8" arms are too short for an NFL tackle
Ryan Ranczyck - 33 3/4" arms are borderline too short for an NFL tackle. Projected as a LT by most he would instantly have the shortest arms of any starting LT
Now the second round of film study begins to identify if these player deficiencies are related to their performance. Cook and Fournette both have a high fumble rate. John Ross has a high drop rate. Ramz short arms explains why he is such a great run blocker, but leaves questions about his potential as a starting LT
