Mike Glennon should have gone to Tim Wright instead of Brian Leonard on the play that Brian fumbled the ball. We've seen this before from the beginning of Glennon's career(so far). He's missed Wright in the end zone I remember in like his first game or two. And, I saw some other plays yesterday where Glennon should have gone somewhere else with the ball. He needs to avoid sacks; or, the coaching staff needs to coach better to reduce sacks; this is also on the playcaller. Our new studback seems to be regressing; he's not cutting back when he needs to anymore. On D . . . I should have posted about this before, but against these scrambling Qbs, we need a Qb spy.
Perhaps Glennon was going through his reads from left to right and determined first that Leonard was open enough (he was, although closely covered to limit any YAC) to chuck it.You're right that Wright was the more open of the two.
Offense needs to be more unpredictable. Change the launch point, roll out, play action, move the pocket so he's not on a spot all the time where defenders can key on him. At this point in the season I don't even care, I just want changes so I don't feel like a Browns fan.
It was Tiquan Underwood, not Wright...and Leonard had the yardage. Underwood probably would have dropped it.

Glennon will be a backup next year. Rainey had nowhere to cut back to because of the mismatched OL. And as far as spying the QB I actually saw a play where Gholston dropped back about 10 yards and was mirroring Kap. I swear to God this idiot coach of ours tried to use a DT to spy Kap.You could not make this shizz up.

Clearly it needn't be made up - one can watch it offensively and defensively each week....
