For the Bucs, they made economical additions in Bruce Carter, Henry Melton, and Chris Conte. However, with last year's free agent busts in Anthony Collins and Michael Johnson being released, the Bucs needs along their offensive line and at defensive end are even more glaring now.Here is my current 7-Round Bucs only mock draft:1st Round - Jameis Winston - QB - Florida StateCommish's Take: No change here. Winston continues to be the top quarterback and player in this draft for me. Unless he gets in trouble, there is nothing from the field or on the field that would prevent him from being this pick.2nd Round - Preston Smith - DE - Mississippi StateCommish's Take: The big defensive end fits what is now a big need for the Bucs. I am a huge fan of Owa Odighizuwa, but he's likely to end up as a 1st round pick when it is all said and done. Smith is a big defensive end, who is versatile enough to rush from the tackle position on passing downs. He is reminiscent of former Bucs DE Michael Bennett.3rd Round - Donovan Smith - OT - Penn StateCommish's Take: The massive Smith can step in and become the Bucs starting right tackle from day one. I hope the Bucs are sold on Demar Dotson at left tackle because this draft is lacking left tackles, but seems strong at right tackle.4th Round (via STL) - Mitch Morse - OG - MissouriCommish's Take: Morse is a name flying under the radar, but he is a former left tackle that might turn into a very good guard in the NFL. The Bucs met with Morse at the combine. There are characteristics of Morse's workman like attitude that might remind Jason Licht of Logan Mankins.5th Round (via BAL) - Ryan Russell - DE - PurdueCommish's Take: Russell is one of my most underrated players in this draft. I could very well see him going sooner than this, but most projections have him as a late 5th/early 6th round pick. Russell is an experienced pass rusher who could provide depth at that position for the Bucs.5th Round (via NE) - Stefon Diggs - WR - MarylandCommish's Take: Diggs has some injury history, but when he stays healthy, he's electric.6th Round (via STL) - Deshazor Everett - CB - Texas A&MCommish's Take: The Bucs met with Everett after his pro day at Texas A&M. After re-signing Mike Jenkins, the Bucs aren't desperate for another corner, but Everett presents nice potential for a 6th round pick.7th Round - Wes Saxton - TE - South AlabamaCommish's Take: Saxton is still one of my favorite late-round players in the draft. Saxton is very athletic, has great speed, possesses soft hands, but is extremely raw. With Dirk Koetter liking to use the tight end in the pass game, perhaps Saxton is a nice developmental project for the Bucs.
