If we let Hump, Kwon, and Smith walk and they all signed high contracts, could we get 3 3rd rounders or is it capped at one 3rd rounder?
I realize that we couldn’t sign any high-priced FAs, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the Bucs wanted a year to assess the roster under new coaching, clean up their cap, and work towards 2020.
Personally, I think we should tag Smith and see if the new coaches can fix him, but I don’t want to allocate more money to WR or LB. I love Hump, but not at 8-10 mil. I think Kwon isn’t worth the money due to his coverage deficiencies.
