It's things like these where I hope New Orleans run the table on us and Schiano has to be let go due to the terrible performance.
but wait....a season ending victory will give us momentum going into next year. At least, thats what i've heard.
It's true. That momentum sure helped this season after the Buccaneers got that rabble-rousing victory against the Atlanta Falcons to end the 2012 season.
Yes sir.....carried right over to that debacle in MetLife opening day. What a clusterfukk we have become.
"build through the draft" they say .... brilliant
The scariest part of this whole thing is that it looks (looks) like the Glazers themselves don't have a clue what they're going to do. This will lead to :a) deciding to ditch Shiano/Domb) beginning "the process" of vetting new hires (this could take a month)c) eventually hiring underwhelming candidatesThey should know what they're going to do and if it involves replacements those people should have been contacted (at a minimum).
Building through free agency seems to be going well.

Combo is what works. Current franchise situation > January 2012

You have no idea what they are thinking and they can't go out there talking to "replacements" while the coach is still in place. They already have to have a tarnished rep in the coaching circles as it is. The good news is that the position is much more appealing than it was 2 years ago although the QB situation isn't all that pretty.
Glazers are incredibly tight-lipped. And they keep things very secretive. They won't say anything until it has happened. So any "sources" should be taken with a grain of salt. Not even the NSA knows what the Glazers are thinking right now.
Should have canned Schiano mid season so they could get a jump on the process like the Texans
No one has the glazers cell numbers and they're overseas.Which pretty much means no one knows shit.

They're overseas????Exactly the reason these clowns need to go. They have a team in absolute turmoil over here and they aren't even in the same country... much less state. What a joke. You should not be allowed to own two teams in two different sports and two different continents... How could these doofuses possibly manage this franchise effectively? Absolutely infuriating that I've put everything into this franchise my whole life and the owners don't even give a crap enough to be on the same freaking continent for the last game of the year.EDIT: @IKaufmanTBO: Joel and Bryan Glazer chatting it up with Bucs GM Mark Dominik on the sideline. Greg Schiano standing a few feet away. Interesting scenarioSo much for that.I still hate you Glazer boys.
Why are you listening to what BW types?
What should scare fans even more is that Schiano not only gets another year but goes 8-8 and that in turn is sold to the fanbase as acceptable improvement.Just like at Rutgers...this guy is a barely .500 coach that will never ever win **CENSORED**.
You keep throwing that .500 thing around, but he went 2-9/1-11 the first two seasons after taking over that garbage program. After 4 straight losing seasons to start there, he had 6 out of 7 winning seasons and was well above .500 (.644)
In his last four season as a head coach THREE of them have been losing season. Look at his last few Rutgers seasons...4th, 8th, 4th? In the Big East? He sucks. In fact. he only had less than four losses ONCE in all his year at Rutgers. He's never won a division of conference on any level. By your logic, we can cookie cutter this season and say he won 4 of 5 games...wow...so f ing what? Serious question...what has he ever won of significance? I'm listening.
I think Schiano leaving to take the job at Penn State would be perfect. We get a new coaching staff, he gets a great college gig. He probably finds a lot of success and builds a tradition of NIttany Lions Men. I mean he's a likeable guy, maybe he'll find success again at the NFL level. If he stays, he gets another shot, and we probably make the playoffs.

Don't try and spin crap. You have repeatedly pointed to his "barely .500" record at Rutgers as proof that he can't coach. "My logic" was to put your misleading stats into perspective.
Apparently winning 7 and then 4 games gets you another year in Glazerville nowadays. Same guys who fired Dungy and Gruden after winning seasons. Smh
