If college football is canceled or even pushed to the spring, how will that impact the NFL draft? A lot of players that otherwise could have gone first round, now with no tape, could fall big time. If college ball is played in the spring, will the draft be pushed back (I doubt that). Go back to this time last year, did anyone have Burrows in the first round much less #1 overall? Yes, the few top elite players like Trevor will still go high, but a lot of players simply wont have the tape. How many underclassmen that would have come out, now wait one more year to try and improve their draft status? How many seniors will petition for a 5th year of eligibility?
Scouts and teams are going to have a tough job sorting players out. And all those arm chair GM's won't have the highlight videos on YouTube to make their predictions. Could be much more exciting yet very scary.
