He’d be a major major upgrade to the turd we just flushed

  That turd won you guys a SB and did some good things even with Winston.......he lost his OL and without a decent OL, no team will win.

why would any decent OC come to the Bucs who have a lame duck HC and no QB to speak of?

 

 

Because if the defensive minded HC gets fired and the OC does a good job, he’ll be interviewed for the position. It worked out pretty well for Dirk Koetter, something Monken is pretty familiar with.

The Bucs could float a guarantee to draft a QB of the OC's choosing. That's an incentive I think might help. Whether Bowles or the front office would make such a guarantee is doubtful.

We shouldnt let Monken leave his interview without a contract. 

 

He could excite Brady enough to make him resign for another year.  Monken hire should excite other QBs to come here if not Brady.

Carr would be my 2nd option, but doubtful we could make it work due to our salary cap.

Heineke should be a priority if top two options dont work out.

Monken makes 2 million per year at GA  , and it’s a stable coaching staff .

Bucs can’t say that
