In my opinion, our 2002 Pass Defense was the greatest of all time (with 2013 Seattle probably # 2). Still is.
The can't compete with our Interceptions per game and TDs given up per game (we were around 2 Ints per game and they're about 1 while we only gave up 10 TDs ALL YEAR and they're at 10 now) and Passer Rating against (primarily due to that TD and Interception disparity in our favor), but everywhere else...scary...and this is in the modern NFL where everything is situated to enable and amplify the passing game.
1) 4.3 Yards Net Yards Per Attempt vs our 4.5.
2) 7 First Downs Given Up Through the Air per game vs our 8.
3) 142.5 Passing Yards Per Game Given Up vs our 156.
Pretty crazy.
