YEAR to year fans look back to predict the future, but the NFL is always changing.
This year so far:
The #1 free Agent QB has looked like an old guy with a A injury (except against the Bucs lol). Pedestrian today in a LOSS. His 4th qtr today was fumble, INT, INT
By comparison, Mayfield is currently one of the best QBs in the league (fingers crossed)
The NFC North is all "playoff" teams . . even the Bears, sort of.
The NFC West and the NFC East are a mess, with the Cowboys on the verge of imploding. The Bucs have beaten two East teams, one which leads the division now
The NFC South is nothing special, as predicted, but Bucs are in the lead.
Lions are maybe the team to beat in the NFC having beat the Vikes today in the Vikes stadium (what a game) . .. and yet we beat the Lions at their place.
Crazy start to the season, as always
Brock Purdy is ass
I don’t think he’s great but aren’t the 49ers down most of their skill players?
chiefs are tough
Aiyuk possibly torn ACL. They get Pearsall back, but he didn't catch any passes today.I don’t think he’s great but aren’t the 49ers down most of their skill players?

Aaron Rodgers off to worst start of career (supposedly) and the Jets are terrible. Its not easy to microwave a team
Baker has outplayed Cousins this year but lets see if he can keep it up facing some pretty good defenses the rest of the way (KC, BAL, LAC, and SF) are good tests. (top 15 DVOA ranked) The one good defense we faced in DEN, the whole team played like crap - though he was bad too.

yes Rodgers is cooked. got to be his last year.
the Jets management looking at what the Bucs did and keep trying to do whatever to buy that Championship.
Fire the coach, bring in his former WR...
2-5 not looking good
keep trying to do whatever to buy that Championship.

Obvious parallels between Bucs- Brady and Jets - Rodgers, but many BIG differences too, not the least of which is Rodgers himself
And now to "maximize" a bad decision, lets turn over the team to Rodgers by elevating a defensive coach to HC . . . hmm, another parallel!!

i mean really Rodgers is the problem. The team reminds me ire similar of the 2022 Bucs where they struggled to put up 24 points in a game.
The Jets put up 24 against bottom of the barrel teams in New England and Tennessee and got wins.
The points in their losses - 19, 9, 17, 20, 15.
Rodgers averaging 2 INTS a game the last 3 weeks.
and while Brady was much better in his last year than Rodgers is in this, his final year, the offense was just as shit.
the Bucs wins that year
Dallas 19-3
Saints 20-10
Atlanta 21 -15
LA Rams 16-13
Seattle 21 -16
Saints 17-16
Arizona 19-16
Carolina 30-24
a brutal season. The Bucs put one complete game together. The 4th quarter against Carolina which they outscored them 20-10. The second quarter against the Seahawks where they were up 14-0. Sprinkle in a few other good quarters in their wins and you got one complete game.
The Jets have a relatively easy schedule - but not if they continue to play like that...and already in a pretty huge hole at 2-5.
