Came to the senior bowl as a fringe 1st rounder and has struggled mightily this week especially against speed. What are you thoughts on him and where would you feel comfortable drafting him? I'm curious to watch him this afternoon as I think he may be a guy who's best in a phone booth though that doesn't excuse him getting bull rushed by a DT that's 50 pounds lighter. Everything I have read about this week has been negative. Not just getting destroyed by Donald on a daily basis, but just in general. One guy said he looks undraftable and another said he had never seen a prospect hurt his stock so much in one week.

Donald's bitch this week haha. Lots of guys struggle against Donald in game obviously but it sucked for Richardson. His week to prove himself in front of all these scouts and he choked HARD.
O-linemen from spread offenses are so difficult to evaluate. One reason I'm hesitant with Matthews. How much of his play was enhanced by Manziel's ability to avoid the rush?

I think when he plays in the game today, he will look better than going against Donald. But I dont mind if he slid to the 4th for us.
In a power run offense yes but if we are gonna screen and pull he doesn't seem like a fit.

Mathews is very solid on video. Richardson had serious questions before the Senior Bowl. The only knock on Mathews is his lack of ideal arm length and he could be susceptible to the bull rush at the next level. He is a franchise LT though. He could struggle with bull rushers a bit but not for long. I think he will be great.
Better in the actual game and made a nice down field block in space but still wasn't overly impressed and he did give up a sack. My concern wasn't just that Donald beat up on him, but that he struggled ANY time he dealt with speed. He also seems to get his hands swatted away by DTs instead of delivering a jolting hand punch that you'd hope for from a guy of his stature.
Wouldn't do it. I rather have Yankey instead.
It seems like the top spot is jumbled right now (yankee, sua-filo,jackson etc)
