LVD, as great as he is, is now a step slow and a part of the problem (a point Josh Q made), especially when considering bringing White back in.
Our problem is less BLITZING (the thing you could at least argue White brings to the table) and more coverage in space, the thing White sucks at and that LVD used to handle.
If you look at it that way and then you add in the "locker room cancer" argument (overplayed a bit), its really hard to imagine them bringing him back . . because he doesn't solve the actual problem and he could be an additional problem on his own.
I think that IF Winfield is due back soon its even less likely because Bowles will think that better organization/leadership on the back end lets them improve the defense enough.

some good new on storm. storm is spreading out and slightly losing strength. May be a 3 when it hits land. still bad but at least a brief positive trend
